Worker arrived on time. Install required rebuilding threshold and framing before installing door. Worker's experience enabled him to problem solve to ensure quality install. He cleaned up when done. Took aprox. 4 hrs. I am extremely pleased with the job.

We used Taylor to replace some sliding glass doors with french doors.  I
kept trying to tell them what I wanted and they kept trying to tell me I
didn't want that.  Finally ended up using my father-in-law (also a
contractor, but not close to home) to help me find what I wanted so we
could just give Taylor the specifics and exact style.  They took our old
door out, but it was a month later and before they put the new door
in.  They also forgot to order the door handles so it was another week
before we got handles on our door.  Also, I had been very clear I wanted
white french doors and they had told me
that we could paint them after installing.  They didn't tell me they
wouldn't
paint them and I was responsible for finding someone to do it!  The guy
they referred me to was a 6 week wait! We'd already been waiting so
long for the doors that we just did it ourselves so we could have it
finished! A total pain.
We'd also talked to them about doing some
exterior remodel for us, got a quote and everything.  The quote looked
great until I started talking to them more about it and realized they
hadn't put everything in we'd asked for and the actual total after
construction would have been very different.  Not sure if it was an
honest mistake or a bait quote, but between that and the difficulties
they had just getting us new doors, we won't be using them for any
further remodeling!

Management is honest, communicative, responsive, and punctual. Quality of the work has been excellent. I had an issue with two basement posts that weren't sitting quite right on the concrete piers. It was addressed immediately and the owner apologized for the oversight. Taylor Contracting asks a fair price for quality work. I will use them again in the future and would recommend them to others. I wish I had hired them to do my  all season room. It would have been done promptly and well.
