Kuchel Roofing

Tear-off and roofing were completed in a day, on budget, on time. The clean-up was minimal as they use an Equipter to catch the shingles and nails during tear-off. Our roof looks great and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The entire process went very well.  I contacted the insurance company for my homeowners coverage following a storm that occured in August with very high winds.   The insurance adjuster came out to my home to assess the damages and I called Kuchel Roofing as I had heard that they did professional and timely work.  The owner of the company, Kevin Kuchel me with my insurance adjuster at my home to review what needed to be done.  My insurance company authorized that I move forward with the entire replacement of my roof/shingles.  I hired Kuchel Roofing to do the project.  Kevin Kuchel set up a time to meet with me to show me the differences between the various shingles and the colors/costs available and proi even provided me with other home locations that had certain colored shingles so that I could drive by the homes and see if one color appealed to me more than another.  I did this, as recommended and then let Kuchel Roofing know which color

The experience was great and the work performed was even better.  Kuchel was extremely responsive from my first request for a quote all the way through to completing the roofing work.  They were extremely helpful in navigating the insurance maze to ensure my roof was completed to city code without costing me extra money out of my pocket.  When the insurance was disputing items which are required Kuchel stayed on the insurance company daily to get the discrepancies resolved, they saved me many hours doing research and battling the insurance company.

The work could not have been completed any quicker!  Kuchel arrived about 7:30 am and by the time I got home from work at 5 pm the house and garage were both completed.  That's right....they tore off 3-4 layers of shingles, fixed/replaced the sheeting, installed the new shingles and had the whole yard spotless in one day!

The rate and speed at which the project was completed was tremendous but more importantly the time was taken to do things correctly.  As I swung home during lunch to inspect I found them taking the time to fix some damaged rafters and lay new decking.  Also I have a very rough brick house and they spent the time to properly fit the flashing to ensure proper drainage, no shortcuts were taken.

As you can tell I am extremely pleased with the results and will continue to use Kuchel for any future needs.  The neat part is that this is a family based business and you can tell that they took a lot of pride in making sure I was happy.  I could not have asked for better help, service or quality of work!

Provider first replied to my request for a written estimate.  Upon receipt of estimate I called the next and accepted their recommendation as to a shingle and said to go ahead.  Was scheduled for two days later.  I was not at home when work was done but came home later that day to a finished job with a total cleanup and not even a damaged plant along the foundation.  Job was exactly what I was looking for.  Had one small problem with a leak around the stove vent.  They came out immediately (same day) and worked at it until fixed.  Would recommend them to anyone who asked me and have already done so.
