We have used Certified for years and have always been extremely satisfied with their work and prices We called that morning and they got the truck in that afternoon. It was done later that day. Prices were in line with others quoted.

I was driving through a thunderstorm and didnt realize the street flooding.I drove through a flooded street and all of a sudden it died out. My explorer had to be towed to my house. After I called certified the owner personally came and loaded my explorer and took it to the shop. After replacing the engine with one from the salvage yard he delt with my insurance company and helped me to submit all paper work needed to file my claim. The only reason I didnt pay a dime is because this company delt with my insurance company. My explorer ran like a dream for years later. I highy recomend certified auto to do work I should know being a mechanic know they have what it takes and working at Ford I know why they dont call for advice they dont need any they have it all under control.

We bought a van and it was having a hard time shifting into first gear. So we decided to get a tune up done and change a cover for us. We chose to go to Certified Auto because that is who my husbands family has always used. We took our van in and was supposed to have it back the next day. Well when we went to go get it they were having problems with the oil pressure which we werent having before we brought it in. They couldnt get the oil pressure to stay up. So they decide to change the oil again to see if that would help. When changing the oil the 2nd time the found a fabric/material in the oil, which was not there when they changed the oil the first time. They kept finding more and more of the fabric/material in the oil. They told us that the original oil filter had been defective and that the paper in it had come out and that what was causing the problem and that we needed to replace our engine now. There is no way that it was the filter because they have more of a paper material in them and this was more of a wooly fabric. We believe when they changed the cover they left a rag in there and forgot about it and started the car which sucked the rag down into the engine. They told us if we wanted they could replace the engine for somewhere between $1500 to $3000 which at that point in time we didnt have because we had already just put $1500 in the vehicle. We ended up taking the van home and on the way home the engine seized up and we ended having to buy a new vehicle. After the fact I spoke to my grandfather about it and he told he 2 other stories concerning him and his friend when they used Certified Auto and how they messed their vehicles up.
