The point of getting this done was to fix some grading problems that had occurred because of frost heaves. The existing sidewalk was tilted toward the house. I wanted the front yard regraded and the sidewalk replaced and the driveway replaced because it was broken up. They were quite thourough about providing advice about what needed to be done. They were the low bid of 3. The work was done in a timely manner. The C in professionalsm was because of some cursing that was commonplace during the work. There are also some problems with the way they backfilled. I have found nails that they didn't find when they did cleanup. I don't think they ever heard what I wanted done with the front yard. It was not regraded. He said my water problems were corrected. It may be that he is correct, and we won't know until we get a good driving rain. Nonetheless, when we talked about the issues and what I wanted done there seemed to be an understanding. But when it came to doing the work, it was only about pouring concrete.
