Dr. Schnoebelen has seen our animals throughout their lives. Most of our visits were for well care but when the animals were ill, he was incredibly attentive to their needs and gave us many choices in how to go forward. He followed up all our visits with a call. He is quite extraordinary.

The employees at St Francis and Dr. Schnoeblen are incredibly friendly and considerate. They called me after the procedure to let me know everything was okay. The prices are very reasonable for procedures as well as boarding. I feel very secure in having my dogs cared for at this veterinary service My dogs are always clean whenever I pick them up from boarding there. Dr Schnoeblen is fabulous. I can't say enough nice things about the place. I am willing to drive 25 minutes to go to this veterinary practice rather than maybe 5 minutes to the closest one because of the quality of the service and the professionalism of the staff.

After bouncing around from one unsatisfactory vet to another I've settled on St. Francis for good. I drive clear from Iowa City because I think so highly of Dr. Schnoebelen. His prices are very reasonable, he and his staff are experienced and knowledgeable, my pets respond very positively to everyone there, they all seem to truly care about the well-being of my pets, and they were very empathetic when my very old kitty was in her final days. They really are very good at all of the things that matter. I highly recommend them.

Great! Wonderful! I fear that others are catching on as appointments are becoming harder to come by, yet I must commend Dr. S. and his staff. This is where you should go for medical attention for your pets, not an espresso. Straight on medical care provided with compassion and love. No doublespeak or pitches for add-on services. Dr. S. always calls to see how your critter is doing.The staff is awesome. Molly and Boris give all paws up as does Toby from heaven. ST FRANCIS VETERINARY CLINIC is the best!

We've been taking our pets here for years. We had been going to another veterinarian, but weren't happy with him. Our dog has allergies, so we called Dr. Schnoebelen for a consultation. He met with us and discussed our options for 45 minutes. He ended up referring us to a specialty clinic that could give her more help. When we went to pay, he told us that he wouldn't feel right charging us since he didn't do anything. After being charged for every little item, it was refreshing to talk to a vet for free. We've happily taken all of our pets there for everything else. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are great. Definitely worth the drive from Iowa City!
On a side note, they also offer boarding at a great price!
