 + -1 moreWe contacted them to give us an estimate on our bathroom remodel. Once onsite, they were up front about how far out they were (4 months) which ended up being too long of a wait for our needs. Their estimate was one of the 1st ones we got back and ended up being almost 3x as much as the others we received (all generally in the same range). I got the impression that they intentionally bid themselves out of the work & if that's the case, why not just say you're too busy to take on a new job vs. wasting the time to come out and do an estimate? I arrived at this impression because I cannot figure out any other reason for there to be such a huge cost difference. The estimate did not provide itemized costs; rather a list of stuff that would need to be done and an estimated total at the bottom. Again, not sure if this is how they normally provide estimates or did so simply because they didn't want the work - hard to recommend either way though.
Description of Work: Bathroom remodel - labor to move walls, plumbing and electricity. Homeowner had purchased most of the large materials directly (e.g. vanity, sink, faucets, shower, & flooring) so this should not have been figured into the cost.

Description of Work: Remodeled our kitchen. Start date was later than predicted and took longer also (est. 2-3 weeks was over 4). In general, the work was very professionally done, however the detailing was lacking and clean-up was poor. Had to point out uneven paint lines, scuffs on new floor, lack of stain along edge of new door. There were cigarette butts on driveway and on garage floor; my broom and dust pan were taken from hangers, used, and covered in drywall & dust. Were metal screws in driveway (we had a screw in a tire and had to replace 2 tires), on deck and in cupboards. New cupboards required interior cleaning. Our upstairs bathtub was used to rinse out buckets, bathtub was full of debris, and stuff was splashed up on shower door. When went to used new dishwasher for first time (which they installed), no water came in. They did respond same day to fix that. Frequently did not arrive until 9-9:30 and sometimes left before 4:00, although a couple times they stayed until 5-5:30,

 + 0 moreThe estimate was near our budget but as we dug deeper into the project we noticed the product costs were extremely under average. Plus we had a bit of a personality clash. I didnt appreciate some comments that were made, nothing offensive, just a bit sharp for my style. They seemed to know their stuff though and we seriously considered their bid. The last straw was that after several conversations we found out their timeline was not close to ours, so we unfortunately wasted each other's time. They had a three month wait after contract sign.

 + 0 moreI liked them because they refinished the cabinets and there weren't many companies that I could fine that would do that. It was good.
Description of Work: They did a kitchen remodel for me. They refinished my cabinets. They also took off my old counter tops, and did a little bit in my bathroom. Replaced the sink drain.
