This is by far the best return on investment for my home! My cedar shake roof is approx. 10 years old and was dirty, gray, full of moss and lichen and looking much older than 10 years. After Bruce and Maria cleaned it, the shakes look beautiful, clean and are a light, warm brown color. It was a truly impressive transformation. Bruce is a knowledgeable, nice person and I could not give a higher recommendation!

We initially contacted Bruce Sullivan for a quote on our cedar shake roof that had not had any maintenance done at any point during its lifetime (20 years). We were considering purchasing the home and by the looks of the condition of the roof, it appeared as though we would probably need to replace it. Bruce went right out to take a look and gave us the quote within just a day or two- he indicated that on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst condition), our roof was a 9.5 but that with a good cleaning, he could make it beautiful and definitely extend it's lifetime for many more years (it hadn't been leaking, just looked really bad). The estimate included a set rate for both cleaning and shingle replacement. We did a lot of research on the process and found Bruce to be the most skilled and credible. He took the time to explain everything to us and answer any questions we had.
Bruce and his counterpart, Neil Krans, cleaned and repaired shingles over the course of two days. They were on time, courteous, and friendly. They cleaned up all the moss, etc. that had been removed from the roof after the job was completed. Ultimately, they did an absolutely fabulous job on the roof; it looks nearly brand new! We are so pleased that we went with Sullivan Roof Cleaning and feel it was worth every penny. Both Bruce and Neil possess a rare quality in that they take great pride in their work and dedicate themselves to doing the best job possible (as long as it takes).

They arrived on time and did a fantastic cleaning of my cedar shingle roof. Black shingles turned to bright new wood as I stood and watched. It really was amazing. My roof was cleaned in June of this year and true to what Bruce told me, the curled shingles I had have flattened out over time. The roof looks brand new!
I called the Sullivan team back to my home in July because I had my cedar siding cleaned ( I didn't realize Sullivan provided this service previously) by another company and it looked worse than before they started. The product they used turned the entire house black. Bruce and Maria came to my rescue right away. Again, when they finished washing, my home looked like it had been entirely re-sided with new cedar. I had been told by my first cleaners that I would need to replace 1000's of dollars worth of siding. After Bruce and Maria, it was down to less than $300.00.
My house is now stained and looks beautiful because of Sullivan Roof Cleaning.

The Sullivan Roof Cleaning team just never fails to deliver! We just hired Bruce and Maria to do a second job for us at our home in Ames. The results were just nothing short of amazing! Bruce Sullivan has developed his own proprietary processes and equipment to do what nobody else in this market can even come close to doing with this kind of result.
The Ames house was an asphalt roof of moderate age that was really showing the effects of time, especially with a large tree that overhangs the house and is constantly raining sap and other debris down on the roof.
Earlier this year we had Bruce do our cedar shake roof at our house in Johnston. This 20+ year old roof was really looking bad with years of accumulated mildew and moss. When Bruce was done, it looked absolutely new!
