It went very well. Will was very meticulous in getting each square to fit as well as it could even when it meant taking a lot more time than what he had planned for. The floor looks great and the price was great also, since he stayed with his original price even though it took a lot longer to do the job right. I highly recommend him!

I highly recommend NorthStar Hardwood Floors. They exceeded my expectations in every way and my floors look amazing.
The house I purchased had wood floor damaged by previous owner's cat. Smelled terrible and the bedroom floors were in rough shape. Will was able to squeeze my job in so that I could have it done before I moved in. He and his crew are very careful and knowleadgeable. They are meticulous. I am so happy with the work they did and recommend them to everyone. My floors look like new and the cat smell is gone. I am planning on having Will back eventually to refinish the rest of the floors. I do think that their pricing is very competitive. It's just expensive to refinish wood floors, but it was worth every penny after seeing what a fantastic job they did. Will was very prompt in getting my quote and answering any questions. Beatiful job.

   This review is over due as I wanted to wait for a few months to see how the hard wood floor was through the winter months while I was away. 

    The floor looks really great.  The Northstar team of three was very impressive. They are punctual, hard working, and polite.   Each one knows his part of work.  As soon as they arrived they started on the job right away, without spending time chatting or kidding around.  They took short breaks during the day, but did not waste time in idling.  The team was very self-disciplined.  Obviously the leader, Will, planned well ahead of time on the job process. Each of them coordinated very well.   I had seen some so-called "professionals" cut corners and treated customers like we were ignorant. One thing that  lots of those "professionals" neglected is that even customers do not have that sort of professional skills, we do have common senses regarding knowledge of esthetics, views on work ethics, as well as values of our homes.  We want the hired job well done so that we can be proud of the working team(s), and recommend them to our friends should something comes up.

      I had Will came back to adjust the bi-folding closet door which they took out during the floor installation.  The door did not close.  Will came back asap and fixed it.

      I have no hesitation to recommend Northstar to others.

The service was good. They were on time, and answered all my questions. The job only took about 3 or 4 days just because they had to stain the wood a couple times.

I have no idea as to the cost, but any contact that I made with the owner of Northstar I was pleased with. He returned calls quickly, kept all appointments and the homeowner was pleased with the end results. The repaired a few bad spots in her wood floors and refinished a large area of her existing wood fllors.

We have not moved forward or anything with the quote and we are waiting.  They were overall very good.  Their pricing was very competitive.  It took them a little longer to come.

I highly recommend this company! Their craftsmanship is wonderful, and the price was extremely reasonable. In fact, their bid was $2,000 - $3,000 lower than all of the other estimates I received. I was really impressed their service, and strongly encourage others to work this company.
