John Sandegrens Heating & Air Conditioning

John came over to give me an estimate for a new AC and furnace repair. He looked the furnace over and found it had a crack in the heat exchanger. He showed it to me and explained the safety issue. John was very personable and provided a reasonable estimate. Both items were replaced. John and his team were very respectful, courteous, on time and caring. They cleaned up after the installation. I am very pleased with the looks of the job done along with the AC and Furnace units. I researched the brand he sells and feel they are of good quality.

They scheduled me in right away and were on site like two days after they quoted me a price. The estimate was free. They showed up early and were hard workers... I've only had one problem with my HVAC system and they fixed it for free. My one negative for them would be that they are sometimes hard to get ahold of.. They seem to be very busy, but they do get back to me eventually.

This is a family owned business and the second time that I have needed them.  Today's problem did not merit any freon or major repair.  There was something very simple and they had my air conditioning working lickety split!  The first time they came was a year ago and again they were beyond belief on how wonderful they/their service was.  They are father and son and they are FUN!   They are very very very reseasonable and since they were already in the area today I was not charged a service call.  I would also like to add something.  I have had many problems with my heating and air conditioning and used a popular contractor here in Ottumwa.  They could never "fix" the problem and charged me even when they didn't.  I began asking word of mouth and that's when I discovered the Sandegren company.  Everyone gave them high 5's in all of their experiences.  I purchased my home new and my central air conditioning ran better after their repairs than it did new!!!!!  ( I am disabled and on a limited income.  I consider them a blessing from my God.)
