Since 1958, we have been committed to delivering cutting edge telecommunications services to our members at the lowest possible price. We pride ourselves on providing service, second to none to each and every one of our valued members. We have about 100 employees in the corridor area. We are installing Fiber to the Home in a multi-year project to bring future proof technology to our members. This will result in faster internet speeds, the best digital TV experience, greater reliability, and a dedicated connected at each home or business.

Services we offer

South Slope Cooperative Communications provides high speed Internet, and bar area., and television to residential and business customers. The South Slope Community Center is easy to find as it located less than 5 miles from I-80 and I-380. The large open area has sit down seating for 300. Our reasonably priced center features a commercial style kitchen, built in sound system, free parking, full size drop down screen, permanent stage area, phone service, wireless phone service

Fine. The guy probably did the same thing I could do myself if I had the login information, but he was done pretty quick and checked everything over. Unfortunately the service doesn't seem as fast as when it was was first installed, so I may call them back.

Because the modem had to be moved near a wall on the north side, they attached the modem and our router to a piece of plywood, and screwed that to the wall in our basement utility room.
Very polite, professional, and asked questions to make sure we were okay with the placement of the equipment.

This all went fine. From the time of my call until someone was at my house (after 5) it was about an hour. My beef with them and the reason I am going to drop is I think they are extremely expensive. I have all three services and that doesn't even help. I can't afford that. That's more than some people pay for a car payment! Yikes!

In 2012 we saw increases as high as 325% from local channels (ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC) which led to a restructuring of our TV package pricing. You did mention in your post that you are an Internet customer as well so you should be receiving the best TV rate we can offer. Connections worked fine when installed, however service was unusable during day time hours. Ask to return and had to pay $260 dollars to return equipment. (hourly installation charge)
Believe problem was worse than wireless connection. Suspect streaming problems during day.
was unimpressed with the wireless hardware they used. I thought they would use my wireless hardware which I do not have a problem with.

When the service was originally set up, it was quick and easy. They were on time and the representative was quick to get things up and running. I have had this service for several years and have never had any issues with it. The service is fast and inexpensive. Whenever I have had to contact the company they have been very prompt and courteous.
