Jans Lawn Care Service

This is my fifth summer with Jans and each year has gotten a little worse until this summer I've had it. They are supposed to mow every week, but so far, I've been lucky if it's been every other week. Currently, we're going into the third week without any mowing. When they do show up, they mow so fast the lawn is raggedly uneven. I walked one man around my yard explaining exactly where I wanted them to trim and weed eat.  He took no notes, barely spoke, and they haven't gotten it right yet this summer.  Most often, they don't trim at all.  I think the original owner of Jans has hired out the work to some other company because Jans used to be responsive, friendly, and professional.  Today, I would say that under no circumstances should you hire them.  I'm looking now for someone to take their place next spring.  Let me add - I am NOT fussy about my yard.  Almost any attempt would meet with my approval. This outcome is not worth $45 a pop.

Drive looks great, and they've used safe ice-melt to keep the snow down when it continues to come down. They're always dependable, and seem cool if occasionally you decide to do the work yourself. I'd highly recommend them.

Sometimes good but left large amount of dead mowed grass in all flower beds driveway and sidewalks..had problem with them keeping a schedule and showing up in a timely manner and not concerned greatly with returning my calls requesting services or even just a call back.

I was not impressed with the quality of the work done.  The boy moved over the yard so fast that it looked like the blades did not have a chance to do the cutting.  During the time he mowed branches from two different trees were broken off and they were just left laying in the yard.

They are okay. There were a few dead spots around the lawn, but they receded those. They're a local company, and they're pretty responsive.

We had a 3-tiered retaining wall built and pavers installed along the entire (sloping)west side of our home, mainly for soil control and aesthetic reasons. Wyatt Jans was very responsive and engaged in all steps of the project. His was very prompt with replies to email, inquiries, estimates, etc. Him and his staff worked long hours through the weekend, were all pleasant and conscientious. Wyatt was present the entire weekend supervising his staff. Their attention to details are quite impressive resulting to a finished work that's very satisfactory. Our neighbor had a similar project done and were just as pleased as we were with Jans Lawn Care Service. We will definitely contact them for other services from now on and definitely recommend them.

Jan's Lawn Care was very prompt in getting the work done. I was actually surprised to see them so quickly after setting up the service. The lawn treatment and reseeding has had noticeable results in our yard. The grass is thicker, and growing much better. They were also very quick to complete the rain gutters (finished it in one evening). I've been very happy with the service provided, and would not hesitate to hire Jan's Lawn Care again for future yard work.

Contacted Wyatt Jans by phone to have my lawn mowed. He was able to get it done quickly on short notice. The bill arrived with the amount agreed upon via phone. I like this business for their reliable and quick service. I will use them again and would recommend them to a friend.
