I wanted to add curb appeal by getting a new door. My old
garage door was original to the house (approximately 24 years old) and falling apart.
So I contacted Dan’s after reading through a couple reviews on this site and
submitted the Contact US form on their website. Terry contacted me shortly
after and we setup setup a time to meet at my home. I drove home from work and
he was there waiting for me, right on time.
Terry was great to work with. He had a recommendation picked
out that he thought would look best on my style of home (shed style) but I felt
no pressure select that one. He provided education on the insulation value, materials,
options, and finishes. After reviewing the materials he brought with him, I
agreed with the style he originally selected. He was able to quickly draw up a couple
quotes for the door I wanted with different options selected.
After he left, I made my selection and stopped by their
office the next day to pay for the door. The door was a special order so it
took 3 weeks to manufacture. Last week, Dan’s called to schedule the install
and they were very accommodating of my schedule. The door was installed
yesterday in about 2 hours (door and track, my garage door opener did not need
to be replaced). The installer was very pleasant to work with. Great experience.

Work was done quickly; the worker was friendly and courteous, and knew exactly where the problem was.

It went very well. He was early getting here and had everything done in a few hours

garage door wouldn't close during the polar votex weather. The service man came out promptly and fixed the issue.

Provided 2nd garage door opener

The sales guy was very good. He showed us what kind of options we had. We have also dealt with them before. They are very prompt. They clean up well. Their service techs are extremely friendly.

We were really pleased with the way they made it work for us and that we finally have a garage door opener. This was the first time we had used them and would definitely recommend them to others in need of these services.

Getting the work scheduled as the salesman originally promised was two weeks late and required a phone call by me to get on the installation schedule. The two installers did an outstanding job. They knew their stuff, cleaned up afterwards, and did all other things you would expect and more for such work. The doors seal to the walls and concrete floor much better than those that were replaced.
