I was contacted 06/16/2025 by Jeff from PK Home Solutions LLC. I sent him photos of my home and explained the roof leak. He arrived at my home, we went upstairs to the second floor where there is open access to view the attic where the rain water was coming in through the roof. Jeff said his rate is $90 an hour for him and his son that works with him. He said it would be $250-$350 plus materials. He went to Akin Building Supply in Creston to get materials, roof ridge cap shingles and roofing tar/cement. Jeff & his son used two ladders to get access to the roof. Jeff removed old ridge cap shingles and installed new ridge cap shingles. During the work I informed Jeff that I wasn t concerned with the appearance of the roof, I just want the water to stop coming into the attic. His son was suffering from severe digestive upset and spent most of the time sitting in their truck. When Jeff was done he said he wanted $350. I didn t mention that I m paying his son to sit in the truck, I was just grateful that the roof repair may be finished. Jeff said that if the roof still leaked he would come back and make it right. During the next rain storm the roof was still leaking in the are of the work. I called Jeff and informed him that the roof was still leaking where he was working. Monday 06/30/2025 he said he would be here at apx 09:00 and would need another $250. I informed him that he had guaranteed his work. He was upset that I was asking him to honor his verbal guarantee without additional payment. I told him that I didn t want him working on my roof if he s unhappy. We exchanged a few text messages, he said he can t guarantee his work with the problems that others before him attempted to repair. I told him that he was made aware of the previous repair attempts. In my opinion if Jeff was not sure that he could repair the roof and stop the leak and stand up to his verbal guarantee, he should have declined the job.

We are so happy with our tile floor! Jeff and crew did a meticulous job and it really has changed the look of our home! We were so happy with the tile job that we also hired them to fix a floor area in our entry room that had water damage. Again, we were very satisfied with the finished product. PK Home Solutions does high quality work and are wonderful to work with!

They did a complete renovation of our bathroom. Removed lathe and plaster walls, tub, vanity, flooring and fixtures. They did a great job and I appreciated that they always cleaned up their work. We are very happy with their work.

They replaced and and restored two deck stairs. Their workmanship and cleanup was professional. The resloping if the stairs makes it easier for us to get up and down the stairs. They installed the stair railing to match our deck railing.

Jeff and Brendan are AMAZING. I have hired them for many many jobs and I highly recommend them for anything you need. From plumbing to roofs to floors they have done for me. Before and after of my flooring they did. One of the MANY projects they have done for me.
