 + -1 moreAs a retirement hobby, my dear wife let me buy a 1952 Chevy Side-step 3100 to restore. Well, as luck would have it, shortly after buying it the babbit bearings went out. After much contemplation, and hoping my wife wouldn't rescind my hobby, I had the engine pulled and sent it to Midwest Cylinder. A guy named George did/over saw the complete rebuild & he was excellant to work with. I provided many of the replacement parts and he suggested a few that I missed (new water & oil pump). They provided excellant quality workmanship, met time frames & were very accessable when I had questions. Yep, I would go to them again & recommed them to anyone.
Description of Work: Rebuilt my 1952 Chevy 3100 side-step pickup, 216 engine - to include replacing the rod babbit bearings with insert bearings.
