Very personably & friendly, called me by my first name, I have 2 toddlers that were very curious as to what he was doing & he talked to them showing what he was doing. The patch looks good price was reasonable, will be calling him again for some indoor painting later this winter.

I would not recommend Mark Cooley for any future work!
I created a general scope of work and even had a drawing with dimensions for the work to ensure
he and I were on the same page when he bid out the work.  Initially,
everything was going well and Mark was very responsive (showing up
around 9-10 am everyday) to stud up the walls.  He mentioned he was out
of work, so he was more than happy to work on my project, but he
couldn't give me a quote on drywall until the stud work was nearly
complete.  I waited on his quote for drywall while he continued his stud
work.  Finally, he was able to give me a quote of $3,100 for drywalling (with materials)
when I got two additional quotes (1) $2,750 (with materials) 2) $2,600 (with materials)) that were well
under his quote.  Mark's response was he couldn't go lower and he didn't
know how they were that low, so based on his workmanship errors and his
price, I chose to go with another drywall contractor.  The questionable
workmanship errors were:  studs were bowing out about 1/2-1", crooked
walls, no ceiling support every 16" (more like 30-60" which would have
had the drywall sag) and no over hangs for drywall to fasten.  I
confronted him and he immediately said he would be correcting all of
these issues.  He said he would be back Monday (2/25/13) to finish up
and correct the errors.  Instead, I received a text message "I will not
be returning!  I fell u have taken adxantage of my experience and
generosity!  Good luck with ur project!"  Now I am left getting the
drywaller that bid lower than he to fix Mark's mistakes for an
additional cost.  I would take Mark to small claims court, but the fees
($90) and time wasted is not worth re-couping the couple hundred of
dollars from him.

Good.  He was timely and he does quality work.  The only thing was when I went to check over everything, he had missed one of the insides of the bedroom closets.

Again the only issues I had were with contacting him and having him follow-up (which was NOT timely) and the fact that he brought the smell of smoke into my home.

The builder of our home did not put tiles high enough around the shower heads. Mark came and fixed the drywall in 2 bathrooms. He noticed a hole in my son's bedroom door and fixed it also. He was on time, cleaned up before he left and the work looks great.

Mark did an excellent job on our house we are preparing to sell.  I went with him due to his expertise, reputation, and extremely fair price.  Mr. Cooley did some drywall repair and painted the interior of our house, and was able to do the work within a very reasonable time period.  We were very satisfied, and plan to use Mark again in the near future!

Was trying to sell my house and noticed Drywall damage near the staircase leading to basement.  Was really desparate as people were coming to see the house and needed to get the same fixed ASAP.  Got these guys from Angie's list and explained the situation.  They had other jobs scheduled but talked to one of their other jobs and were able to get the people and machinery to my house and get it done immediately into the wee hours of the night.  They came back the next day and painted the area and we sold the house subsequently without problem.  Great Job!! They did the drywall, then smoothed it out with the machine and came back the next day and painted it to match the other parts of the walls. They also were very reasonable and did not try to take advantage of our desperate need to get the house fixed.

Very punctual, very accommodating. I had a few changes, and he was very patient with me. The price was right, and if I ever had more drywall work to be done, I would hire him again. Very knowledgable and has plenty of experience.

Mark did an excellent job of drywall finishing. He had to match the "orange peel" finish of the wall and ceiling and it was perfect.

Mark replaced the wall, removed all waste materials, and cleaned up completely. After he did the "mudding," he came back a couple of days later to sand and "re-mud." The wall looks brand new!
