He is a small town guy and works on his own. The customer was delighted and he exceeded my expectations, and he was great. He worked hard, fast and safely, and the degree of precision was good. The skill that this guy comes with is pretty rare to see these days. He climbs trees and takes them down from the top down and it was quite a show to watch. He climbs up the tree, ties a rope around the branch and hand pulleys it down to his assistant on the ground. When they cut off the branch, they would lower it down to the ground so it did not fall on my cabin, deck or on them. He was able to do the same thing with some trees that we wanted to leave and climbed up the trees, cut off the branches that were blocking the view and leaving the rest of the tree. He also took down some major dead and live trees. He tried to charge me $375 and I said I think its worth more than that and gave him $400. I have been very impressed with him.
Description of Work: I used Kyle Johnson for tree service. The last time I used him was in October 2009 and he removed and pruned about 15 trees.
