The tree was much taller than our two story house and was next to a fence, near the garage, not far from the house and above some power lines. Due to weather delays and emergency jobs from the storms it took them more than a month to get to us, but when they did finally come, they did a great job. We thought our garden would get smashed by branches or the trunk, and that the yard would be torn up, but they were barely touched. The tree trunk left a slight indent in the ground where it fell, but that is the only slightly noticeable evidence that there was ever a tree there. We'd had another company come a few weeks earlier that had given us the same estimate, but they called me saying it would be an extra $800 because they'd need to use a crane, so we sent them home. I was very pleased with the final result, even if we had to wait for it.
