WESSLING CONSTRUCTION

The painters were on time and did a great job prepping the house, the painting however was very sloppy with house color splashed on the gutters and on the white trim. Only one coat was applied on most of the house with bare spots receiving touch up. It would have been nice if both the house and trim had a second coat as the original paint was in very bad shape and a lot of bare wood was showing. Much of the bare wood on the trim only got one coat of paint. Under the eaves behind the gutter is still bare wood. We also had the threshhold repaired on the front door and a new porch poured. Randy's plan for the porch trim was very nice and if it had been executed correctly would have been beautiful. Unfortunately, the trim does not match the edge of the porch as it should. The flashing under the trim is uneven. The space where they cut away too much of the aluminum siding before installing the porch is filled with caulk and painted. It does not look good and we will have to make repairs ourselves as well as repaint portions of the house and trim. After a strong start, everything seemed to go downhill. Randy was unresponsive to our concerns regarding the quality of the threshold repair and the trim work around the porch.
