screwsI haven't said anything till now because I was too angry and disappointed. I asked for 1/4 inch drywall and as he requested, pulled the trim loose. He brought 3/8" drywall and said it would be better. I wanted the job done by the end of the week and said OK.That was a big mistake. He said he would butt it up to the woodwork, instead of under it and assured me it would look great. When I saw the result, I asked him to fix it because the edge was uneven. I was in a hurry, so I paid him and left to pick up my daughter. He didn't fix it. In addition, on further inspection, I found screws sticking out, tape bubbled, uneven plaster, places where the tape was exposed and holes not plastered, but just covered with tape - especially by the woodwork. It was really a mess. 
I didn't call him back. After what he did and his "fixing the edges" I knew he wouldn't make anything better. I would have been better off doing it myself, which I could have done. I didn't want to because of recent neck surgery. As it was, I spent weeks fixing what he did. I am very unhappy with his work.

Dan completed all the drywall work in a basement remodel -- approximately 1,000 sq ft.  He offered suggestions for decreasing sound transfer, changed his schedule so we could do some work ourselves prior to his installation of the drywall, and then completed his work promptly and cleanly.  He communicated very well, offered very good advise, and is one of the cleanest contractors we've ever worked with.  He is very polite, respectful in all communication, doesn't blare his radio, treated our kids like gold and answered their 100+ questions very well!

He did such a great job. Personal, clean, punctual. A pleasure to work with. When contacted, answered his  own phone! Didn't have to leave a message! Cleaned around work area when done. No drywall dust. Brought fan to dry drywall and came back later in the afternoon as promised. I really appreciate the good work and the great personal service.

They found the source of the problem easily. They were always on time and efficient during the appointment. The two technicians that came out were very friendly and it took about 3 days to complete the work. I was very happy with them.

Dan is very good. Responsed promptly to my inquiry. Always came to my house in time. Answered all my questions patiently. The job was done yesterday so I cannot comment on the long term quality yet, but it looks pretty good right now. Dan cleaned up very carefully after the work. He is honest, friendly, easy to work with. Highly recommended!

It was a three day process and Dan was very prompt each day and explain the whole process prior to the work starting. When we was finished he matched the texture to the rest of the ceiling and you can't tell any work was actually done.

He was really good. I liked that he was point blank fair and not trying to take from me.

I have to recommend Dan very highly.  He responded to my request promptly.  He was able to get to my job quickly, showed up on time and worked very efficiently.  After taking some cabinets out, I needed an area of wall and ceiling repaired and textured to match the existing.  I tend to have a very critical eye for things and he exceeded my expectations.  He did such a great job that you can't tell where the repair work was done.  He also took the time to fix another ceiling area that was not correctly patched and textured.  For great drywall work and reasonable prices, let Dan do your work- you can count on the job to be very well done. 

honest, dependable, trustworthy. I had a 12ft wall that i tore up to put in a sliding door. the rock that was previously there consisted of several layers and lots of the wire mesh used in homes in the 50's. in short it was a real mess. mr holland came out on time to give me an estimate and faithfully performed the work while i was out of the house. Because of the difficulty in matching the new with the existing drywall, this project required several repeat visits to sand and re-apply mud. All of this was done over 4 days while i was at work. I was only charged $200 and am very happy with the results! Im actually calling him again today to schedule his services for another project!
