They did a great job and they completely went above and beyond. Took a little longer than expected but mostly due to insurance and parts. They had a loaner for me to use so taking a little longer wasn’t an issue. Job well done!

Jim Hanson was able to send in photos to the insurance company and speed up their estimate. At the same time I got Hanson's estimate The repair work was done with an excellent paint match and the result was "As though it never happened!". The work was done for the insurance estimate price. All the employees were courteous and made sure that you were taken care of. through the whole process..

Not only were all members of the staff very friendly, courteous, and attentive, but they accommodated me in ways I did not think were possible. I told them that I was very sensitive to smells and chemicals, and the last time I had a body-shop experience, my car was so full of VOC's I got sick. Well, before I could finish my story, Jim said, No problem, we will keep the windows rolled up, and any time we are not actively working on the car, we'll park it outside. At the end, my car did not even smell inside. BUT WAIT, there's more! Jim questioned me on an unrelated problem I had with my ignition, which he discovered. I told him I had tried to talk to the dealership, but they had blown me off. He immediately offered to do research on it, and he even wanted to take it to the dealership himself to talk to them! This place is total customer service at its best.

I was so pleased to work with this company. The damage was caused in a different state than I live (where my college student lives) but I was able to arrange service with confidence. We spoke on the phone several times and every question I had was answered politely and professionally. My daughter says they have been efficient, friendly, and professional as well.

Jim is a fantastic find!  He is very knowledgeable and will work hard to make sure everything is in perfect working order.  His prices are very fair and he provides terrific communication.  Highly recommend!!

Service was great. Got in quickly, and fixed within a few days! In Monday out Thursday.  They went out of their way to get me a rental car before my son's tball game. They also noticed that my oil change was overdue, so they called me to see if I wanted them to do it. Yes! Nicest people, treat you like family. My car looks brand new! They dealt with the insurance people after my repairs cost more than they were paid. Would recommend!!!

We went to Jim Hanson because of his good feedback on Angie's list. We had a terrific interaction with Jim and his staff from start to finish. We had needed major body work done on our Honda Odyssey after a deer hit. Jim underbid Billion by more than 10%. He gave us a great loaner. He was easy to reach by phone. He did the work on time at exactly the price he had quoted. Two thumbs up!

They give fair estimates and provide quality work. This company also provides a personal touch and it does what it says it is going to do. Their pricing is reasonable.

Jim Hanson made us feel very comfortable in his approach to fixing the problem.  His expertise in this trade was evident in the job he did for us.  I was amazed at how well the paint matched.  Jim definitely has a qualified staff working for him.  Everyone who worked for Jim seem to take great pride in their skill.  I think that says alot about an owner of a service business.  For my money, I thought we got a great deal.  I would highly recommend Hanson Automotive to any of my friends.  They are professionals in every sense of the word.

I have a daughter going to college in Iowa City and she had a check engine light come on.  She went to Hanson's and they reset it at no charge.  I feel confident in sending her there with any other car problems.  They are not the type to try and find problems so they can charge you for things.  They are very honest!

Recently I had an accident leaving my Vehicle destroyed. My insurance company wanted me to take it to one of their “recommended garages” but since it’s my choice to use whom I wish, I decided to use Hanson Automotive. I have used them for mechanical work in the past and have always been more than happy and after reading their body work reviews on line I knew they would take care of me “not” take advantage.  Jim & Josh have always gone out of they’re way to save me money and get me back in my vehicle fast.  As soon as I arrived at the shop I was overwhelmed with the great customer service and the immediate help dealing with the insurance company claim. I made two calls, the first to my insurance company and the second to Hanson Auto and I didn’t have to do anything else. The owner Jim Hanson made the whole process smooth and painless. He also overheard me get upset with my insurance company when I realized I didn’t have rental coverage, Mr. Hanson immediately stepped up and informed me his shop offers free Loaner Vehicles!!!! I picked up my vehicle tonight and was elated at the sight of what looks like a brand new car!!!! Kyle Hanson did my paint job and it’s a perfect match!! This young man is a perfectionist. Not only did he do an amazing job but he also took the time to buff my headlights and make them look brand new!!!  But wait they didn’t stop there…. My car was returned to me cleaner than when I brought it to them!! Evan Hanson looks to be the youngest at the shop detailed the inside of my vehicle. You could tell he takes pride in his work and work ethic definitely runs in this family. This young man is going to be my new detailer!!! This Auto Shop’s Customer Service is the best I have ever come across. The owner and his staff will do whatever it takes to deliver excellent work at high standards. It’s nice to know there are businesses out there that still do work for the Customer!
