Dr. Hayes is an amazing vet. He has treated our cats for years. Dr. Hayes has an uncanny ability to work with cats! We recently relocated to a different state and I am very sad to have to find a different vet. 

He is the epitome of professionalism. Very kind and gentle with cats. Has an interesting academic background with an emphasis on anatomy. Also has some side opportunities such as a web Q and A service. I couldn't be more pleased.

Overall, my experience was pleasant. The vet was very nice. She was gentle and patient with my cat. I was going to get a 3-year rabies vaccination for my cat, but the vet explained the risks of doing that, so I went with the one-year vaccination.

Dr. Hayes is great, very comprehensive and complete. He always does the basics (weight, heart, lungs, temp) which is baseline information most vets gloss over and, sadly, miss things due to changes in those small, overlooked details. Dr. Hayes is all about detail. He also treats cats with the basics first and then, if those don't work, then he'll go to the blood work and xrays and expensive stuff, which I really appreciate. It's a delicate balance for veterinarians to achieve, balancing the needs of the cat with the ability of the pet owner and realistically, that includes cost. We were afraid to go to The Cat Clinic because it looked pretty fancy, and it IS, but it's affordable too. And then once we added in the extra value of having Dr. Hayes take care of our cats, it was a pretty easy decision to make the Cat Clinic our permanent place to vet.
