I called and talked to a polite secretary, who told me it would be 1-2 days until my appointment. However, I heard from the plumber that same morning and he came in the afternoon. Although he was not that familiar with the diaper sprayer installed on my toilet, he quickly examined it and assessed what was causing my leaking problem. He fixed the toilet and sprayer and gave me some very helpful information about future use of the sprayer, as well as good information about my brand of toilet and its pros and cons regarding performance. He did not provide an estimate prior to the repair, probably because it was such a small job. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill when it came. I would definitely call Bill's Plumbing again.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I called in the morning and they came to my house that same day to fix the toilet. The part was only $7 dollars, but the service call was 60 or $70 I think. The only negative part of my experience was that nobody mentioned the price of the service call. I wasn't expecting it to be that expensive. But...overall a good experience.

I was very satisfied with the service from Bills Plumbing. They complete the job, clean up after themselves and are always very responsive.

Fast to respond. Cleaned pipe. Not as professional and nice as one would hope for. Also, left a huge mess from the cleaning and from also walking in with muddy shoes. The work was done quickly though and the problem was fixed. Just wished for a little more professionalism.

When we contacted them, the secretary that answered the phone was a complete b***h. She was not friendly or professional AT ALL. We did get what we wanted, and a plumber came over and replaced the flapper. We were not charged for anything.

Well, shortly there after, that new flapper failed so we had to call back again. Once again, the same person answered the phone and was a complete b***h again. We still were able to get a plumber to come out and replace the flapper again.

Well guess what, that second flapper was no good too! SO, my wife called back this time. The same secretary answered the phone and was a complete b***h to my wife as well. Once again, the same plumber came and replaced the flapper. This time it was fine, and has been fine ever since. I'm not sure if it was a bad batch of flappers or what, but having to call this company 3 times and speaking to the same person all 3 times, it was NOT a pleasant experience for us. Each time it was the same plumber that came to replace the flapper. He was a nice guy, but the experience with the phone call wasn't professional or courteous at all.

I know it's been 10 years since we've dealt with this company, so they may have gotten better by now and hired a nice, courteous secretary to answer the phones. But, I still will not recommend them, nor will I use them ever again after the experience I had.

We were (and still are) completely satisfied with the service. We were especially impressed that the plumber suggested that we call the maker of the original water heater to check on the gurantee. The entire process took less than four hours. We will use Bill's Plumbing for our next plumbing job.

Bill's diagnosed and fixed low water pressure in our tub/shower prior to the sale of our house. They were honest, timely, and professional. The price was impressively low for what they did. This is the second or third time we've used Bill's and I would not hesitate to call them again.

Came when promised. Identified problems and took necessary actions to repair. Finished in about 2.5 hours. Repairs seem to be working well. We were satisfied with the service.

Assuming that #1 was an accurate diagnosis, I changed the toilet bowl with a high efficiency one that has a jet flush only to find out that this wasn't the problem. I ended up paying them + to replace the toilet bowl and I am still at square zero. I am glad I didn't pay them to change the bowl at least. I would not trust their judgment again.

Friendly on phone. Had to ask for price breakdown. 1st plumber arrived within a couple hours, and was kind enough to point out I'd requested a white toilet but everything else was off-white in bathroom. Before he went to get correct color, he removed broken toilet (tank busted by 8 year old son!). It had strangest toilet drain you've ever seen (yet another example of bad work done when house was built). 2nd plumber returned within an hour, with off-white toilet and other non-standard parts so it would attach correctly. That made it more expensive than estimate, but they recommended against any more extreme work (when they could have suggested ripping up floor/wall to replace piping etc). I was happy with their competence and commonsense. On the way out, I asked about pipes under sink, which have been ongoing battle for many months. Promptly replaced. We sometimes do our own plumbing, but these guys were great: quick and competent. Highly recommend.

Our hot water tank and our water softener began leaking while we were on vacation. Family members looking after house and animals were able to turn off water until our return almost two weeks later. I called Bill's early the next morning describing my situation and within two hours they had someone here to replace the 22 year old hot water tank and to remove the old non-functioning water softener. The new tank cost more than I paid 22 years ago, but so does everything else. I was very pleased with the response time, courtesy, workmanship, clean-up and very happy to have water again.

The work was done in conjunction with rebuilding an older tile shower that was leaking badly. I let Bill's Plumbing know how the tile work was progressing, and they made about 3 visits over the course of the job. It was easy for me to coordinate their visits with the tile contractor. I love my new, non-leaking shower! I have used Bill's Plumbing before, to repair worn out plumbing in my 1960's house. They are very good at this sort of repair work, and very reasonably priced. On the first visit, I had the plumber replace a corroded sink trap. The pipe was so far gone that it broke off way back inside the wall. I was worried about how he was going to fix it and get everything back together again without putting a big hole in the wall, but he fixed it all up and got the new pipe in without the slightest trouble. Obviously, he knew how to handle this sort of repair/retrofit job, and that's the kind of plumber you want when you have an older house. Ones who specialize in new construction and/or new houses won't have the resourcefulness to deal with the problems you run into in an older house. In this case, the plumber also went above and beyond, doing some work that was not strictly plumbing (e.g. shoring up my subfloor and putting in a new plywood subfloor) because the tile contractor couldn't/didn't want to do it when the subfloor damage ended up being worse than expected. I appreciated not having to find someone else to do the subfloor repairs. I will definitely call Bill's Plumbing again whenever I have plumbing problems.

He was just fabulous. I called on a Thursday and he was out to my home the following Monday. He charged me for the part and the sixty dollar service charge.

Our upstairs bathtub was leaking into the basement, and we didn't know why. We contacted two plumbers previous to Bill's Plumbing, and both charged us too much and did not correctly diagnose or fix the problem. One tried to tell us it was a caulking problem. The other said we needed an entirely new system (and he tried to sell it to us for $600, but I refused, so he "quick fixed" it with silicon and it started leaking in two days). Then, someone recommended Bill's Plumbing, so we called, and they were amazingly good. Within minutes, their plumber knew exactly what the problem was (faulty valves, I think), went out and got the parts, promptly returned, and fixed the problem. He could have easily told us that we needed a replacement faucet and knobs and charged us upwards of $500 (and we would have believed it, because the tub is an old one), but he was honest and said it was just the valves. He was really friendly and professional, too. We'll never use another plumbing company--Bill's is awesome.
