During my initial visit on 3/18/2014 I felt very comfortable and welcomed at Best Friends Veterinary Care. Dr. Kim Vercande and her staff went out of their way to meet my needs even though I arrived without an appointment. Update: 3/24/2014- Between Dr. Kim Vercande and her assistant this was by far the best educational experience I've had at a veterinarian's office. I was taught the proper procedure for ear cleaning. I was given educational materials and food recommendations. Discussion took place about future immunizations and possible health complications. My appointment lasted an hour and a half, they took the time and patience to answer all of my questions. They were kind and gentle with both my dog and myself. My dog was new to walking on the leash and upon leaving the office he didn't want to walk out the door. Both Dr. Kim Vercande and her assistant stopped what they were doing, came to the door and helped praise and coax my dog to walk on the leash out the door. I was very impressed by this gesture and the overall visit.

Came in with my small dog first, very friendly, on time for our appointment and she answered any questions I had. The doctor was very, very good with our small dog. Then bought in our big dog, same thing, on time and answered any questions. They are all "Great" with my two dogs and cat. In fact, this is the only veterinarian that I will take my cat too. She is 17 1/2 years old and they are wonderful to her. Our cat is grumpy, but is good with her. Our dogs are young, so they have had just a few visits, but that is the only place I am taking them. They make our animals and us so comfortable! Very happy with Best Friends Veterinary Care!!

They are wonderful people. They are so dedicated to the animals. They call if there any issues, their follow up is excellent. The fees are very reasonable.

The service was great. I had no problems with them.

We took our puppy to Best Friends for his initial puppy visit. The staff
was incredibly kind and welcoming to us. They went out of their way to
make us feel welcome. They all visited and praised our new puppy. They
also made us a print of his paw - which is incredibly cute and shows how
much they care.

The staff gave us comprehensive information about upcoming vaccinations
and choices we could make for our puppy's health. As new, first time
puppy owners the staff has helped us to feel as
though we can knowledgeably and confidently keep our puppy healthy and
growing.
They taught us the appropriate food intake, gave recommendations for
brands of food and shampoo, and taught us how to trim his nails and
clean his ears.

We will without a doubt continue to use Best Friends as our primary vet and animal resource.
