The move went very smoothly. The movers were prompt, arriving right on schedule with a telephone call to let me know they were on their way. Upon arrival they were friendly, attentive to my concerns, professional and careful in moving the furniture to their truck. The furniture was protected during the move and was delivered to the room location I needed without any damage to the furniture or the rooms, which was especially difficult with a couple of very heavy pieces. I was impressed and pleased with this moving company and would highly recommend them to anyone needing anything moved. I appreciated their being organized before, during and after the move as well as their tips to help us be more organized and prepared for the move.

Smoothly. Our crew was happy, calm and willing to do whatever it took to help us have a great day in the midst of real upheaval. We packed lots of boxes the days before and they came in on time and finished within a few hours. We feel it's the best money we've spent on any help.

Adamantine Spine Movers are just PHENOMENAL! I am going to start by saying that I am very, very picky and that I treat all my stuff with extreme care. When starting to look for moving companies to plan my move from Ann Arbor, MI to Richmond, VA I ‘panicked’ with the inconsistent ratings of some of the most well-known moving companies. Fortunately, a friend of mine recommended me Adamantine Spine Movers and I contacted them to see if they would come all the way from Iowa City to move me. And they did! The experience was amazing, starting with the easiness with how Eric did our quote over facetime, and how Bill and his team of two more people packed all my fragile items with extreme care and carried all my furniture carefully covered in protective blankets. Everyone was so nice, polite, respectful, and efficient and we actually had a great time while they were packing our stuff and then having lunch together! Once Bill got to the final destination, he unloaded the truck by himself and re-assembled all the furniture because we had missed our flight and only made it home at 8pm instead of 3pm, as initially planned. When we arrived, everything was in perfect place like I had asked and Bill was patiently waiting for us with his big smile and serene personality. And at the end, an even better surprise: the final amount was lower than the estimate provided by Eric in the first place! In conclusion, I highly recommend Adamantine Spine Movers to anyone who asks me from now on and will definitely contact them if I ever move again!

The movers, who were also the owners, were friendly, efficient, and very hard workers. There was great communication, they were always on time, and they did a great job of protecting my furniture and belongings during a long-distance move. Their quote was competitive with other companies and actually ended up costing less than what they had quoted me. The moving team arrived promptly. The move involved getting into the apartment building next door and they transferred my belongings in less than 90 minutes. Everything was done quickly and professionally. I thought the service was first rate.

From the first email request to the final email communications, Adamantine Spine Moving, were friendly, had consistent positive attitudes, and got the job done quickly. We had several questions about what we could do to help them do their job easier and they responded quickly with easy to understand directions. We had several large and awkward items to donate to ReStore and to Goodwill that we didn't know how the heck we'd get them out of our house. Adamantine Spine Moving took those items for us to the stores without any hesitation.

I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was with Adamantine Spine Moving.  They crew was friendly and courteous and focused on getting the job done.  They handled everything with care and took care of those last few things you always have when packing.  They were patient and flexible with our delayed closing which took so much stress off us on an otherwise stressful day.  We liked them so much that we plan to have them move items we have stored in a storage item to our new house as well.  All that and they are focused on their community as well.  This is the kind of group, a company with character, you want moving your items.

The service was good. They showed up exactly on time. They were done very very quickly. They did not break or damage anything. Our son and daughter-in-law left when they left and they got there at the same time. The workers were nice and courteous. One of the movers that helped was one of the owners. They did not pack anything, they just moved us.

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Adamantine!  Everyone we interacted with during 2 moves was professional, polite, friendly, efficient, and respectful and cautious with the items they are moving!!
I first contacted them about moving a household worth of items in October from a storage unit in Coralville to a home in Minneapolis.  My primary contact was with one of the owners - Eric, and he was very responsive in getting back to me after my initial inquiry and when I had further questions.  His estimate for the total weight of our move was spot on, and he was very easy to work with.  I received an update the day before and the crew kept me updated on their arrival time the morning of the move. The loading at storage, and unloading in Minneapolis one day later by 2 of the same crew members went flawlessly! My mother-in-law was with me as they loaded the items from storage, and she still talks about how impressed she was with Adamantine!  
The second part of our move involved moving items from a condo and storage facility in Chicago to our home in Minneapolis at the beginning of December.  I had talked with and received estimates from moving companies based around Chicago, and was thrilled to learn Adamantine would also be able to provide an estimate for this move.  I again primarily talked with Eric, and the estimate was competitive, if not better, than those of the Chicago-based companies.  Without hesitation, we went with Adamantine and were happy to see many of the same crew members from our first part of our move.  The crew of 4, including Eric, did an incredible job maneuvering the truck into a storage facility and our condo loading area in Chicago (thanks Mike!!), and again were extremely efficient and diligently careful with packing some of our items and loading the truck.  I can't believe how easy they made a somewhat complicated move (navigating around downtown Chicago, maneuvering in tight parking lots and alleys at 2 locations, moving items from a 9th floor condo) appear.  The unloading of our items two days later by two of the same crew members in Minneapolis was again without any problems and they were extremely cautious with our items and the floors/walls/light fixtures in the house.
Moving is extremely stressful, and we are so grateful we found Adamantine.  They really made moving as easy as it could be. Their prices were competitive, and their customer service put them leagues ahead of other moving companies I talked with. I hope to not have to move again for a very long time, but I would not hesitate to use Adamantine again, and I highly recommend them!

I was satisfied with their service.  They went above and beyond to get all the stuff in one load.  One employee used his pick up to load the remaining stuff.

I used them twice.  They are incredibly conscientious and careful with your furniture.  They lay plastic and rubber runners on the stairs and floors.  There was a minor chip on the wall when they moved a bed but they had somebody out to repair it within a few days.  They did a great job.  They were very professional.  It took them three days to pack everything.  The charge depended on the weight. 

They did a very good and excellent job.  However the only thing that I was not happy with was when they packed, they have different prices for different sizes of the boxes and you pay for each box.  They also used too many dish box which is a very heavy box and I thought that they could have used the same box that was the same size but was not heavy duty.  The difference in the price was $30 per box.  

They have excellent service. It is basically a small company. So, it is the same guys that come and pack you up and the exact same guys that meet you at the other end. I do not have anything broken in the last three moves. There were some chairs that got busted, but they paid in order to get them fixed, but outside of that, I have not had anything broken. They were dependable. They bring in four workers and when we pack things up, it was probably a two or three day process. I had them actually stay in the house overnight until it got done because I have known them for so long. They stay in my house when they are packing up so they do not have to leave and come back. Then, it is like a day or two to get up here to New Jersey and it took two to two-and-a-half days to do the unpacking.

Bill is one of the owners of the company and the person that helped line up my move. He's the one that I dealt with over the phone, and in person to see what my moving needs were such as size of truck, size of storage unit etc.  He was always available to answer my questions etc. and was always very pleasant, efficient, accurate and personnable!
  On moving day three young men who are college students @ U of Iowa came to load the truck.  The three, Evan, Nick and Joe were very punctual, hardworking, pleasant , respectful, and very efficient!!  They then drove my belongings to my storage unit in Minneapolis and unloaded everything in an organized fashion.  I was very pleased all the way around with the work that was done and the care that was given my belongings, particularly my antique furniture.

Bill communicated very well through the process. Estimate was close to actual cost. Well planned and sufficiently staffed move. Guys who packed were careful with my stuff. They were friendly, personable, and professional. Especially Mike the crew chief. They worked hard and earned their money; no slacking. I would definitely recommend and use them again myself.

They were really good.  It was the hottest day of the summer last year; they were sweating, they were on time and they did everything I asked them to do.  I liked their recommendation that’s why I used them.  I would use them again.  Those young men worked so hard I had so much stuff moved.  I like their price and it was worth it.  They were punctual.  They were very polite.  They did a great job.  I had no problems with them.  They're so amazing.

I have been pleased with the quality of work they did. On the first day, they came and packed all of my belongings into boxes so they were ready to be moved. On the second day, the truck was loaded and driven to CR and everything was brought into my home and put where I wanted it placed. I have been unpacking the boxes and I have been delighted to find that all of my belongings are in very good condition.

Extrememly accomodating and professional.  I wanted to keep services within 2 hours in order to keep within my budget of $300.  I originally planned to rent a truck from elsewhere to complete the move on my own, but I was unable to secure a moving truck from U-Haul.  I panicked a little and then checked Angie's List for local moving companies.  I feared I would face the same booking issue as with the rental... I feared the sound of laughter when I asked for a move date within a week.  Adamantine quickly put those fears to rest and saved me from my poor planning.  Services were well worth the money spent.
