Electrical Service
The rewiring was completed, but was not verified to be correctly done. My tenant was there the day the dryer was wired, and the electrician asked him if he thought the wiring looked ok. My tenant is a farmer, not an electrician. Miller Electric did not attempt to start the dryer and confirm the work to be correct. The electrician did not verify that voltages were correct either. The corn was dry enough last year to not require the dryer to run so this week is the 1st time we have tried to use the dryer.
When we tried to start the dryer, the electrical circuit panel blew. We called for the service co. to come and fix the problem. The dryer circuit board was wired to 220VAC, instead of the 110VAC that was required. Miller Electric now says that the 1 year warranty has expired on their work, so they have no liability in this mistake that they made. They were negligent in their workmanship. I feel that they should stand for the repair of our equipment.
I WOULD NOT recommend Miller Electric for any electrical job.
