Jody completed the work in a timely fashion, He was both personable and professional. I strongly advise anyone needing this service to use Forest Septic.

The actual service went fine, they were on time and worked quickly. Upon completion of their inspection they told me all was fine and I should expect no problems. I contacted them on April 8 because we had not yet seen the approval paperwork we needed for closing. At that time I was told that since our closing was scheduled for April 20 they just had not processed it yet and that they normally do the last minute paperwork first. As our closing approached I still received no paperwork, so I again contacted them on April 14. After several hours they called me back and told me that they had misplaced my paperwork but have now found it and would process it immediately. We still had a few days and since they had assured me that the system passed I did not really worry. I received a letter from the county April 16 at 4:45pm that our system did not pass and that we would need to make repairs prior to closing. That there had been a new code put in place in 2012 and that we would have to update our system. This basically gave me 1 business day to make extensive updates and made it impossible to meet our closing date. I obviously do not blame Forest Septic for the updates that had to be done. However, they noted very clearly on the inspection report they provide the county that our system did not meet the new code. If they had informed me when the inspection was performed that we did not meet code or processed the paperwork in a timely manner, we could have performed repairs and still met the closing date. Finding out 1 business day prior to closing is unacceptable, when we planned well ahead to ensure we would have no last minute surprises. The fact that we missed the closing date ended up costing us approximately $3500 in additional fees that we would not have inured if the upgrades had been done on time.

First, they did not show up on the date scheduled so had to reschedule. There was no call from the company.
Once they came back, they did install the new system, however, they destroyed a brand new 6" chainlink fence with the equipment eventhough it was many feet away from the plaice they had to dig up. They said absolutly nothing until we came to see the work. When we called, first we got ignored by the boss of the techitians that did the job. We had to call yet again and talk to the owner who dismissed the whole thing. In addition, they did not level the area back but left hills on the yard. They finally agreed to come back and put the dirt back to cover the wholes and level the hills where the dirt had been pilled while digging. They spread the dirt but not even on the area that they dug up but rather covered our gravel driveway! We could not beleave it.
To make matters worst, we got a $500+ bill for them coming back to spread the dirt and still no resolution about the fence. At that poit we were so frustrated that I didn't them fixing the fance. Finally with the owner we told them we would take care of the fence and not have to pay the $500+ bill. He agreed.
I would never use this company again. It was a nightmare. A year and some later, we still have deep holes in our yard from where they dug and huge tranches.
Will not recomend them to my worst enemy.

It turned out great. They're very professional and knowledgeable. They come and and do exactly what they were going to do. I would recommend them to anyone.
