They finished the job in two days. Did not give me a written estimate. Said they were going to do a portion on the wall and never did it. Workers smoked and swore in my driveway on breaks. Door and entry way bashed up. They had to come back five times to fix minimal errors. They were very polite when they had to come back. Now they tell me they don’t warrenty the work (only the sump pump).

Iowa Wall Sawing installed two egress windows in our 40 year old basement in a timely manner in spite of weather delays. They took pains to preserve the lawn, cut the opening and installed the new window and well, cleaned up the minimal mess inside and out, and hauled away the dirt to be dumped at a local site. We appreciated the fact that all the work was done with one contractor. The two men worked efficiently and in tandem. We would definitely recommend this company to others.

They were extremely helpful on-site and conscientious with regard to our yard and neighbors yard. They were able to save a tree that they were worried about having to remove in order to perform the work. There was no mess remaining after they were finished.

Very professional company. They were very responsive to my phone calls. After I received my permit for their construction to begin they were out the next day and had my egress window in and all complete in about 5 hours.
They escalated the ground around where the egress window was to go. Cut into my basement concrete. Removed the cut cement. Installed the window. Installed the window well. Tied into my existing tile. And then back filled the around the window well.
They did this all in a 8 foot area. Very impressed.
Their employees were very respectful of my yard and my neighbor's yard.

After contacting several contractors in the area to put an egress window in our finished basement, we progressed from and quot;we don't do egressand quot; to and quot;you need to pull up your carpet because of the waterand quot; and and quot;you need to cut the inside hole in the wall yourself before we get thereand quot;. Seriously? Then, I talked with Iowa Wall Sawing. Peter came out within a couple of days and explained everything they would do. I had an estimate a few days after that. After accepting the estimate, we didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks, and I started wondering. But, then he called and asked if the guys could come out that morning. Five hours later, we had a beautiful egress window and window well installed by two very courteous, pleasant and professional young men. They neither ruined our yard nor put a drop of water on the carpet (which we did not pull back). They took their boots off outside each time they had to enter the house. All of the dirt went into their truck and was deposited exactly where we wanted it. I was worried about this whole process making a terrible mess inside, not to mention the thought of someone cutting a hole in the basement wall. The only thing that ended up in the house was a very, very small amount of wallboard dust along the baseboard. The hole in the wall was perfectly cut on both sides. We were impressed and extremely pleased with the entire process. Next spring, we plan on having another egress put in on the other side of the basement. Iowa Wall Sawing will be doing that one, too. We recommend them without hesitation.
