They found a defective wire connector. The AC was a new install just over a year ago so technically out of warranty. The connector was obviously bad from the very beginning but they insisted on charging me $80 for the repair. They would not even talk to me about it. UPDATE 9-7-17 This is submitted as an addition to a previous review about an $80 charge to replace a wire connector. When the owner found out about it, he was very apologetic and immediately refunded the $80. Apparently his staff didn't notify him of the problem.

They did excellent work, thorough and neat. It was a very competitive price.

Installation of furnace & air was done on time and with no problems. But here's the rub. I needed new air, but the only reason I replaced the furnace was because my power company is offering a $900 rebate.  $1600 in all for both furnace & air. To get this rebate , the installer must test & certify that the new equipment is operating at the claimed high efficiency. This test is supposed to be part of the installation. As of now, I can't get them out here to do it or even call me back. I will eventually have to hire someone else to run the test.. NOT  GOOD!!!

They ripped out the whole wall and totally messed up our basement. They also broke the seat on our goose-neck faucet. Update 4/4/2016: The goose-neck faucet leaks constantly. I called the manufacturer, and was told that it is due to cracking that occurred during installation. I was told by Hudson plumbing that all goose-neck sinks leak, but we had one for 20 years with no problem. They left debris all over, and left a huge hole in the wall.

They come right out, do a good job and check everything out.

The service went great! Doug did a very thorough job. He was very pleasant and professional and obviously very experienced.







The only issue I had was scheduling. I called the company at least twice and they could not tell me when they could get to my house. They couldn't even narrow it down to what week they might get there. I was very disappointed with this and I hope they can take action to make the scheduling better in the future.







I will try to call earlier in the season for service next year to help avoid the scheduling issue.

Wasn't exact replacement part for that sink, but works fine.  We have used Hudson Hdwr P&H for the last 32 years. Have used them for all P&H jobs, including furnace, A/C, installing new kitchen and bathroom fixtures for remodeling. Also sewer cutoff valves. Very pleased with their work.

We had to call them for after hour service so it was a little more expensive than normal. They were kind and courteous. The gentlemen that worked with us was quick and efficient to make sure he wasn't there too long because of the higher after hours pricing

I actually stopped into the office to talk about the work i was hoping to have done. I had bought a incomplete water filter on E-Bay and a kitchen faucet from IKEA and wanted to find out if it was even a possibility of having them both installed. I talked to Bev and she was very knowledgeable and patient with my odd requests. We set a date of May 3rd to have the work done but the day before, I had to reschedule. I talked to Bev, who once again was patient about the change and the fact I added another item to the 'list'. On May 5th, Dennis showed up to do the work. He was punctual, very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. He did all the work I requested on the sink. I then showed him the bathtub drain. My house is on a concrete slab so it sometimes limits what can be done. Dennis looked at it, went to his truck and installed a manual drain stopper. This took maybe 10 minutes. It looks and works great. I'm almost more excited about that than everything else. (ALMOST that is) They are great people to talk to and do the work. Very professional. I'd recommend them to everyone,

We felt like they were more knowledgeable about what our situation was.  It was two years before it was working property.  We wanted to put in a geothermol system and we were told that it could not be done.  We found out later that it could be done.  We think they did not have the experience with the geothermol and we are saying why didn't they just tell us and we would have gone to someone else to get what we wanted.  Now they do have someone on staff that does know more about the geothermol system. 

They are prompt, and they are respectful of the date and time that was scheduled. Their fees are reasonable.

Got price over phone said unit was a standard unit but was $150 to $200 over priced said the labor would bring that down. Labor ended up being more than quoted for no apparent reason total ended up over $200 than what we were quoted. Called the office to see if their was any wiggle room in price of unit considering they sold it to us at the price of an energy efficient one. They responded by saying afterwords that it was a good unit (not true same r value as a standard with no energy smart computer chips). I will not use them again they were rude in how they responded to questions without giving justifiable answers. we only used them because we wanted it changed on a short notice. I will not use them or recommend them again - I have used Bergen Plumbing several times and i should have never switched. Lesson learned.
