They gave me an appointment on the same day, they were on time, they were courteous, and gave me an estimate on different options, they didn’t push one option or another.

2 -1/2 years later my garage doors still leak wind and rain,6 ft into my garage. They said they weren’t sure that they could get them to not leak water????I’ve lived here for 15 years and had a reputable company’s doors before, NO leaking of air OR water. Not to mention the fact that they ordered the wrong doors , then stuck me with them. When orginally installed their top installer said the doors were junk and sent pics to the office. But the office said too bad and that they were to be installed anyway. They’ve been here serveral times since then and all they do is drive nails into the trim around the door and sit in their truck passing time. Tried to get the number for the corporate office many times and they just continue to put me off. Saying a Distict manager will call.it’s been About 6 months now. No call. I might as well not have doors on it….same quality

My garage door would not shut. The came out and got it shut. However, I was charged $127 for that. I was not told on the phone that there is a $79 per hour labor charge. They also told me they could fix my door but it would involve replacing the tracks and would cost similar to just buying a new door. I told them I would call back to order the door after I talked to my husband. Several days later my uncle came to double check I needed a new door and he told me the door was in fine condition and he fixed it for me in less than an hour. I would not recommend them to anyone and will most likely be calling theme to complain.

Jacob the tech that installed this door was very professional and took time to make sure everything was working properly to my expectations.

They replaced the original nylon rollers and lubricated the moving parts. It turns out that the rollers did not need replacing and they barged $400 for nothing. When they left, the doors sounded the same as before. The doors are only eight years old.

The installation of the door is the biggest example of incompetence I've ever seen!  After the door was installed and I arrived to their home just pulling in their driveway I could see the poor workmanship. The panels  where rippled and dented there was a huge gap from the door to the frame of the garage that a small animal could've walked through there were gaps in the center between May 2 and third panel and frame of the garage.  There was a butter dish worth of trash such as bolts and scraps that they left all over the garage floor and driveway.
My father had asked for a handle to be installed and the service manager Rob told my father he would be out the next day which was Saturday, he would be there in the morning to install it. Saturday came and went and Rob never showed up nor did any other technician. I called the office on Monday and all they  chose to do was make excuses for his  inability to keep appointments.
I was finally able to schedule a meeting with Rob on June 20, 2016 and have him come out to discuss all of the wrongdoings with the garage door and the service work.   When pointing out many of the wrongdoings, why Rob did show up to his committed time on Saturday to install the door handle  up to his committed time on Saturday to install the door handle and the lack of professionalism on the technicians that were there Rob's lack of commitment to his "service manager role"  he threatened to leave my dads home without installing the door handle. After cooling down he then asked where I wanted the doorhandle installed did take care of that request.   When I asked him about the ripple panels and the dance in the door he told me that they were from the manufacture or not from his technicians. When I asked him why the door was so noisy he told me the only reason was because it needed to be lubricated. However after further inspection on my own I realized that panels number two and three on the left-hand side were not even bolted together properly panels two and three the hinge was just flapping it was not actually connected to one another but the service manager who trains people did not even notice that. He also did not seem to notice or they don't care that they train their technicians  to tie their safety cables in a not rather than putting a clamp on them to secure them!  On the right-hand side the wheel keeps falling out of the track because the hinge is barely bolted on because they didn't use the self tapping bolts!  And not to forget the garage door opener arm rubs on the garage door it's self because they did not put the all the bolts in the arm.....Unbelievable!!
So they tell me they're going to make this right for my father by expediting this door to get new panels installed for him.   To me expediting would mean a week or maybe two weeks since these panels are in stock in their warehouse sitting there waiting to be picked up however they will not go above and beyond to make this right for my dad like they continually say they're going to do. So let's recap June 20 is when they told me they were going to  expedite these  panels and get them replaced and reinstalled for my dad to get this fixed and taken care of I have been dealing with this now for  three weeks and they won't get the doors for a Nother two weeks! Please tell me if five weeks is expediting doors? When my dad waited five weeks the first time! Talk about the worst service I have ever seen in my life this is the epitome of taking advantage of an elderly person!!

** I would definitely not recommend using this company at all **

Matt, the tech was absolutely wonderful.  He did very high quality work and was very professional and friendly.  I called at around noon and they were still able to have Matt come out and repair the broken spring that same day.  He did not have the other parts so another tech was to come and fix that piece a few days later. (Matt was going out of town).  The other tech did not show up and when I called the woman that did the scheduling, said he was sick. She did not seem very organized and did not proactively reach out to me. They rescheduled for another day, Matt came back and completed the work quickly and apologized profusely for the mix up.

I would give very high marks for the actual work and the high quality of the technician, but the back office was a little lacking.

The job entailed removing  and installing a new double wide garage door and a single wide garage door. The installer was well organized and professional. They did the work they contracted to do and did an additional job I asked them to do while they were there at a reasonable cost. They cleaned up well after the job was completed and took all of the old stuff with them. I had a few questions and they were able to answer all of them to my satisfaction. I was pleased with the work they did.

The service and equipment was top notch but beware the hidden costs. I was quoted over the phone a price to install but when the bill was due there was a extra $79 labor charge and a $40 delivery charge. These were not mentioned before the service was provided and if they had been I would not of hired them. I called the office and explained my thoughts on the 2 charges and was supposed to get a call back that afternoon. I called again the next day and was told the service supervisor was out and she would get back to me. I am still waiting on that phone call 3 days later. When or if I get that phone call I will update this review at that time.

Update:

I called again and was told the same story guess that's how they handle a complaint, hope you get tired and quit calling. Will not use again.

My garage door broke, and American Certified Services was able to get a technician out the same day, even on a Saturday, for no extra charge.  The door was so damaged that I couldn't open it, and it was especially important for me to get my car in since we were expecting hail that evening.  I am so thrilled with the service.  The technician replaced the aging system with more modern parts and had it done in less than two hours.  It runs very smoothly now.  Same day service!

Everything went great. They were able to fix my garage door. They had to order a special part that took a while to be delivered, but other than that everything was handled very well. I would recommend them to others.

The technician, Joe, was very courteous, professional and prompt. He explained the needed repairs thoroughly to both me and later to my son. I thought the charges were fair and reasonable for the work done and amount of time it took to do the repairs. The company was able to have someone out the day after I called for service. I appreciated the follow-up call from the company checking on my satisfaction with the work done. I would recommend this company to anyone needing garage door service.

"On March 22, 2013 we sent our technician to [member name removed] home to repair her garage door. Justin looked over her door, and explained to [member name removed] that she had a broken spring and it would need replaced, which she agreed to and signed the invoice. When [member name removed] went to sign the invoice she did ask to have the Service charge removed, as our ad lists a free service call with any paid service and our technician removed it. As she lists in her complaint the $13 springs, the actual spring probably could be purchased for $13 but it does not come with a skilled technician to install it, nor does it come with a warranty for future problems. We send our technicians out to work on "dangerous" garage door springs and have to pay for their time and travel to work on these doors, so a $100 charge for the spring and installation is an average cost. We have checked with other garage door repair companies and we are right in line with their pricing. I am sorry that [member name removed] feels the way she does regarding our service, but our technician repaired her door as she requested. I would like to extend to [member name removed] a FREE Service Call and tune-up (an $80 value) for her to use over the course of the next year. We would come out and check over he door, tighten all nuts and bolts, and lubricate her door to keep it running as best possible as we appreciate her business and would like to make this right with her."
