He and his partner, Brenda, did the work indicated above, as well as moved a piece of furniture a few feet in a room for me. The work they were to complete would total $260 but I wrote a check for $300. They never came back to install the shelf or fix the basement wall, even though I paid for it. I have his invoice and my cancelled check which shows his charges for the tasks. I also have my cancelled check so there is no question that he did not complete the work for which I paid him.
Description of Work: hung toilet paper holder, hung miscellaneous pictures and mirror, hung shoe storage, took down and rehung shoe rack, hung blind (all $100). He was to build a shelf for our bathroom vanity and paint white ($85), and repair wall basement ($75). He partially repaired the wall but I am told by another contractor that his work must be removed because he did not fill the area in properly. He did not show up to install the shelf although he made several commitments to do this. The blinds were not properly supported and fall down easily.
