Went very well. Plumber was knowledgeable & reasonable for what we had done. The only problem I had was the service call charge which I thought was a bit high.

When I called they were able to get someone right out to my house.  Very to the point about the job.  Only thing I would have liked them to do was go over different pricing options prior to the job being completed.  Other than that they did a great job.  Technician was hard working and cleaned up after himself.

Chris was very nice and very personable. He called to ask if he could come a little early, and we let him come. He was quick and got the job done. We would use him again in the future.

Was very competent, provided the pro's and con's without trying to sell me something.    Have been using them for all my plumbing needs and have always been satisfied with their work.

The guys were all very professional and did a great job. There was a slight scheduling snafu that was annoying but didn't hurt the overall experience in the long run. I would definitely recommend H&H to anyone needing plumbing done in their home.

Everything was well done. Called them right after they opened. Was told they'd be there between Noon and 1pm, they called at 930am to say they were on their way. Job was finished by 130pm. Great work.

I called H & H Plumbing at 7:00 am, Jeremy was at our house exactly on time later that morning, and within an hour our shower was fixed.  Very professional, very polite, did an excellent job, without leaving any mess.  Perfect.  Will definitely call when we need any plumbing work done.

Everything went Extremely well! Their responsiveness was wonderful! We called at 8:15 in the morning, and by 10:30 we had a fully installed sump pump replacement. The plumber was professional and explained the work in detail. We would recommend H & H to anyone in need of plumbing services. A great experience!

Installation went very well. Unfortunately, the heater they brought with them was just a tad bit too big for my space (a utility closet), so they had to call in to get a different one. I felt bad that they had to drive way over to the east side of Des Moines to  get it. But everything else went just fine.

Jeremy did a great job. He kept my place clean with drop cloth, took his shoe off when he was in the house and cleaned up the place well afterward.
He took time to answer my questions, filled up the rebate form for me.

Tony came out and they charged me by the hour this time. I purchased my own faucet which he installed.  They did a great job and I have used them numerous time for other projects.

On demand water heater failed on a Thursday night. Could only find a few plumbers with open appointments on a Friday.  H&H showed up on-time. Tested the heater and determined it was a bad printed circuit board. Manufacturer agreed to overnight the replacement part. H&H returned on Saturday (time and a half for weekend calls) and installed the replacement board. The technician working on the heater did explain to me that a Saturday call would be time-and-a-half and offered a Monday appointment. They gave me an answering service number to call when the board was delivered and showed up shortly after I called to install the board. I'm a bit chagrined that a warranty replacement rings up $200 in labor costs, but that is more a complaint for Rheem than H & H.

It went well enough, although problems with the main shutoff valve near the street resulted in a large mud hole in my yard. They brought in a back hoe and dug up the valve, replaced it, all good and fine but for the piles of dirt in my yard when they finished. So much for the lawn. This added $800 to the original bid but was unavoidable. HOWEVER, after they left I noticed a few things. First, the isolation valves were not installed for my water softener. SECOND, long vertical runs of copper piping up to my second floor were not anchored, they're held in place by the shower/sink at the top and are attached to the flexible tubing below. Doesn't seem solid enough to me but what do i know? THIRD and most importantly, my Culligan water softener quit working. Their first shot at fixing it resulted in no luck but an additional bill for $80. I phoned, got a more knowledgeable guy to come have a look, he tried his hand at it. No luck. He came back, worked on it more, left it rather disassembled, and I waited 6 days before calling them to see what they were doing. Guess I fell through the cracks... anyway the owner said to have Culligan fix it and they'd drop the $80 charge... which was my first suggestion to him when we'd spoken about the problem initially. When Culligan fixes the problem i'll be sending at least a portion of the bill to H&H. Not only did they not fix a problem they caused (directly or indirectly), but they made it worse (read: my water softener was on track to flood my basement after their first "fix" attemp, and is now in more pieces than it started in).

I called a number of plumbing companies large and small. H&H was the only large provider where I actually was able to speak with the owner regarding my needs!! I did check around for prices with other companies, but H&H offered me the best price AND the best time frame to install the unit (basically the next day!) Plus they were very knowledgeable, helpful and upfront with me about the costs and benefits of both 50 gal tanks and 75 gal tanks. After contracting for service, the company told me what time to expect the technicians the next day. They were kind enough to call that evening to let me know that they would need to pick up the new unit from a different warehouse and that they therefore would be coming about an hour later than planned. The two technicians, Rhonda and Josh, arrived exactly at the new time set the night before. They were very courteous and polite throughout the entire process. My old hot water heater had sprung a bad leak so I had shut down the water and vacuumed off the floor what I thought was the contents of the tank. Unfortunately, the H&H technicians discovered that there was still 20 - 30 gallons left in the tank. Without comment or complaint, they promptly went about draining the tank - no easy task since the drain valve had rusted shut sometime in the 1980s. After some improvisation, the tank was ultimately drained. After calling for extra help and a heavy duty dolly, the old tank was removed. I had no idea that that would be the hardest part of the process. The new tank was brought in, a new shut off value added to my plumbing line (at no cost), the tank correctly plumbed and vented, tied into the existing gas line and ready to go all in about an hour. The crew cleaned up the debris and rusted parts from the old tank, made sure there were no leaks in the new plumbing, and verified that the tank was running through its proper heating cycle. Another 10 - 15 minutes of filling our paperwork and the crew departed for the next job. All-in-all a great experience. I will definitely use them again for any of my plumbing needs! I recommend Chris and his entire team!

They took the toilet off and inspected it and didn't leave a mess at all. It was very easy. They explained everything very well. It was just one guy and he was very courteous and personable. The price was with a 1 year guarantee.

Initially I considered a tankless heater. Chris provided a lot of detail about both options and helped me decide whether a tankless heater would be more economical or not. In the end, the additional cost didn't justify the tankless heater and Chris did not pressure me one way or the other. Overall he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I feel confident I made the correct decision.
