toilet needed vented, the work they performed did not fix the issue. would not return my calls. Bottom line is you are licensed and a bonded contractor. does not matter if they told you not to come back like you claim they said. You need to make this right.!!!

They worked so hard even through the coldest months.  The crew was very kind and helpful and they remodeled an old farmhouse in the city limits and made it look like new again.  They also tore down an old barn and hauled that away.

Few months prior had Opies come to give me a estimate on minor repair to basement door, to hang a bath light, fix toilet, and shower pipe needed a different one and mess ups that last contractor did, to fix storm door and fix a faucet, also the noise that went up kitchen sink when I washed clothes with sewer smell. The money came thru a grant to do this. They were paided 1625.00 in April,the estimate I was given for all of this. Work was not done till august and all they did was 2 inline vents... I called and was told there was no estimate for the rest and all that was turned into grant people was the 2 inline vents.Was told the inline vents would fix the problem of noise up sink and sewer smell. And it didn't.
Made a few phone calls to them about when this can be looked since they are bonded. Even grant people made a call was told 6 more weeks. Never heard back. I called again and was told someone would be here before or after christmas, there was a no show. Than my bathtub would not drain.tried calling again and got no return call. Had to use what little left of grant money to get someone else here and was told pipes were plugged up and this fixed the sewer smell but still have the noise up the sink. Pretty upset they got that much money for 2 inline vents when I could had it done thru somewhere else lesser. The other work was not done.
9-11-15  Like I said if it was all submitted they would of approved it all(doubt if my application would of been voided like that) You were paided for 3 inline vents only 2 put in. If the proper shower pipe was changed there would be no issues(Yes I was happy at the time cause you stated it fixed the problems) Not what is going in the plumping it is how it is draining. So guess those vents did not fix the shower issues. You also said your work was quarenteened. I just wanted to know how the first contractor messed up how things were draining in my house. That is why I had to seek out another contractor.your solution did not fix the problem. I doubt if things were snaked cause not long after my tub would not drain and had to get roto rooter to come in. the problem is in the draining system. I am really tired of dealing with this issue. sorry it was to much of a hazzle to switch over the drain pipe on my shower.

The estimate Opie quoted us at the beginning of the job was exactly what we paid not a penny more! He poured the footing for the addition, framed the enclosure, and roofed it. He did not do the interior finish carpentry work - I have someone else doing that. He worked closely with the city code inspector, and satisfied all local requirements. He did all this in 8 working days. This project was a very pleasant experience for us.
