 + -1 moreThey don't do major car repairs or serious car problems then I would have to take it someplace else. They are very good in doing basic maintenance like oil change, fluid levels checked, tires to be updated and all this kind of stuff. They tell me what is really wrong with my car and don't try to look for stuff so that they can charge me for it. I will be able to take my car in for an appointment and they don't try to get me in within a couple of weeks; they usually get me in usually within a day or two. If I have a real problem then they will see me the next day or that afternoon if it is early in the morning. I have always been very satisfied with their performance. I usually take my car in for supreme wherein they change the oil and check all the other fluids or changing and balancing the tires which would cost be about $60.00. A basic oil change would cost me $28.00.
Description of Work: I use Meineke Car Care Center for all my three cars 6-7 times a year every 3-6 months for oil change and tires. three cars and they take care of all of them.

 + -1 moreMy experience with Meineke was excellent and I would recommend this place to everyone. Being a female, sometimes it can be intimindating walking into an automotive shop, but Jeff was very helpful and thorough about his explanations. The fact that they open at 7:30 a.m. and can do same day appointments is very accomodating. I will certainly be back to Meineke next time I have a car issue.
Description of Work: I called Tuesday morning to schedule an estimate and they had an opening for me the same day. During the estimate Jeff showed me exactly what was wrong with the exhaust and recommended that he could weld the part instead of buying a new one. They had an opening the next morning and the service took less than 30 minutes.

I usually prefer taking my car to the dealership for repairs, but since I moved to Dubuque this has been my go-to place for auto repair. My latest visit was due to the muffler falling off my car (not just the rear support bracket - where it connects to the manifold and everything) on my way to work. I gave them a call at around 9 am, had the car into the shop by noon during my lunch break, and was able to pick my car up with all the work done by 5 oclock. The speed was extra impressive since I decided to have them replace the brakes, rotors and do an oil change since it was already in the shop. To top it off, the guy behind the counter told me about an online special they were running which saved me $50 once i printed off the coupon from work.
