They do really good work. We have always been very satisfied with the jobs that we have done with them. My wife and the owners wife do things in church together, and that is how we first got in contact with them, but we have always been very satisfied. I was on the phone with him last night, we want him to give us an estimate to do some work on our front porch. He is very professional, he is very meticulous, he is very punctual, and he has a small staff that works for him. A lot of the contractors here get people from outside the area to come and do jobs for them, but he and his crew do everything themselves. They are all local people, and they all do a good job. They are very trustworthy, and very punctual. A lot of the contractors will start something, and then they will go and do something else for a few days, but he will start something, and stay with it until he is finished.

We were in a bind. The house we were buying could not be insured due to the condition of the roof. I called 3 roofers and explained the situation and the importance of the timing. One roofer never made it out to the house to quote (even though he said he would). Another took 2 weeks to get me the quote (ouch!). Dubuque Home Improvement was there within 2 days and got me the quote immediately (just as they said they would). They were more responsive and a better price. They were hired.



We were set to go on 11/4/13, but Ron called and asked if he could do on 11/2...I was thrilled and said yes.



They were there at 8:00 (all materials had been delivered the day before) and started work. All were professional and polite.



I would definitely recommend Ron for a roofing job and we are considering calling him when it's time for the kitchen update!

The owner came and gave an estimate a week before, while checking the roof, he found some damage, and on the spot repaired the hole. Then made sure that he got us in early so that there wouldn't be any leaks. They are very professional, very clean, and fast. They showed pictures of any damage and let me know before hand if anything was going to cost more, before doing it. The roof looks great and I can't be happier with the service.
