Appliance Repair
Was hired to repair two appliances..took forever to get here then when he did the first appliance took forever to fix.The second he took to the shop. said it would be'Quick" but never back for 7 months. We repeatedly called him and he rarely answered.. totally unprofessional, non -punctual and untrustworthy. Finally resolved all this by contacting the manufacturer to put pressure on him as he said he was a 'certified' repair technition. Bad experience. Never would use him.

Appliance Repair
Originally started doing business with this company 12 years ago when we completely remodeled our kitchen and put in all very "top end" appliances. Our original experience was ok except the female of the household always felt the business owner "Bob" was arrogant and rude.
My husband and I recently purchased a Sub Zero refrigerator to replace an almost identical one we had purchased from Bob's Appliance 12 years ago. When the refrigerator was installed, the wood panels that matched our cabinets didn't fit the access panel above the refrigerator. They installed a stainless steel grate but took the wood panels with them. A week or so later I called Bob to find out why we have a stainless steel grate instead of the original wood panels. (He never called or left a note to let me know what was happening with this.) "Bob" took the wood panels in late September to have the panels cut down and refinished. It is now after Thanksgiving and no panels yet.
But worse. . . the wood panels on the door of the refrigerator had pulled loose from 2 screws, causing the panels to separate from the door when opening the door. Bob looked at it at the same time as referenced above (late Sept.) and told me if the other panels would take more than a couple days to get, he would send his son over to repair the refrigerator door. On November 25, the entire panel pulled off the refrigerator door. Bob had installed the panel, never said it was not sturdy enough or needed to be reinforced. He has called me and yelled at me over the phone telling me that the door panel was made out of "cardboard and gummy bears", that the panel wasn't made correctly 12 years ago. When I suggested that the manufacturing specifications probably are far different now than 12 years ago due to stronger seals on the doors, he told me I was wrong, yet we never had a problem with the panel for 12 years while it was on the old refrigerator.
The owner is very arrogant and opinionated, constantly making excuses for not showing up or returning calls. Realistically only returns calls when my husband calls him. He has told me on several occasions that he would call before he comes to the house, then shows up unannounced. He cannot and will not accept any responsibility for his failure to follow up on this issue.
This is unfortunate because his son whom I assume will inherit the business is very conscientious, friendly, and professional.
