My local branch of Wells Fargo has a free notary service available to bank members. We just walked in with our paperwork, confirmed that we're existing customers, & they took care of it. They were very professional about it - no hassles & it took no time at all.

John Stumps is the CEO and he is heartless. They lied from the very start. My husband was out of work. We got behind 2 months on our mortgage. We asked if we could make that up in a period of a year. They investigated us and we had alot of equity in our house and they wouldn't take our payment online anymore. We asked where to send the check and they said " not to worry, you are going through hard times, you don't have to pay" They were sending us paperwork for hardships to fill out to modify the loan to make payments less. My husband called and said he was concerned and they assured my husband not to worry they wouldn't do anything. We received a certified letter saying Wells Fargo was foreclosing on our home even after they verbally told us not to worry. I heard that other were having the same problems as us. I think they wanted to close on our home so fast is because we have so much equity in our home. I would really like to talk to John Stumps.

The mortgage and thus the interest itself was what we expected it to be. The lady who helped us there was very kind, very supportive, and answered all our questions. There were no hidden costs or problems.
