Most recently, Barry replaced an exterior door on my home. He recommended and ordered the type of door, delivered and installed it, and installed related trim.  Previously he repaired some damaged siding on my house and repaired a door on my garage.
In each of the several times he has been to my home, Barry has been both friendly and professional.  He has explained situations and provided options. His work is excellent and his prices are fair.
I have an older home of the type that in places isn't quite square and in places has been 'updated' in ways that aren't quite true to the original sense of the home. He is patient with my desire to remain as true as possible to the old while being safe and practical in the 21st century. He is respectful of my desire for both quality and cost-effectiveness.
I have more items on my long- and short-term to-do lists and I definitely will call on Waddill Services to complete the items I cannot do myself.  I highly recommend Barry Waddill for repair and improvement projects.

I contacted Barry to get an estimate of how much it would cost to install new interior and exterior doors throughout the house. He came a couple days later and provided an estimate. We scheduled a time to get started and he began work the day we set. There were unexpected problems that came up but he let me know about everything and showed me pictures and also gave me options of the best ways to handle them. All of the work was great!

This was the fourth time Barry did work for me. This time he had to replace the base of the outside garden shed. He is very precise and has always gone over what "will just do" to get the job done. He is a very trustworthy and dependable young man, is fair with his charges and goes out of his way to ensure you are satisfied with the job. This senior citizen is very happy to have found a serviceman like Barry.

I called Barry back in April to get a quote. He told me he was booked up for several weeks, but made an appointment to give me an estimate the following Sunday. He showed up right on time, and we discussed the work to be done. He gave me an estimate, and told me he'd get in touch in a few weeks when he was about ready to start.
Four weeks later, Barry sent me an email that he would be ready to start my repair the next week and we arranged a day for him to come and work. On the scheduled day, Barry showed up right on time and got to work. I interrupted Barry around lunchtime to get his opinion on a problem I am having with rainwater dripping off the fascia instead of going in the gutter. He's not a roofer, but gave me a suggestion about a possible cause that I haven't followed up on yet.
The job ended up taking several hours longer than Barry had expected, due to a sloppy repair that had been made previously and an additional section of bad soffit that we had missed during his original visit. The extra work ended up requiring the better part of two days, the second of which Barry did the following week.
Both days, Barry did an excellent job of cleaning up around the areas he worked. I didn't notice any paint drips anywhere, either.
In the end, Barry offered to give me a bigger break on the number of hours worked than I felt was fair and we split the difference.
I will definitely give Barry a call when I have this type of work again.
