"Dear sophisticated cat owner! If I make it back to earth one day can you make sure that I'll be a cat and hang out with your "fur babies" in your fantastic green house?! Please, please, please??? :-) Looking forward to you and your husband travelling frequently in the years to come! Chris"
"Dear Gonzo's "Mom"! The "girls" and I are looking forward to many hikes through the marvelous Iowa outdoors with our big boy Gonzo! Enjoy your well-deserved retirement - we envy you!!! Chris & Michelle"
"Please enter what you would like the response to look like:Dear owner of Cash & Hero, my favorite black lab brothers! As spring approaches, I am looking forward to many walks with the boys down the beautiful Bill Riley Trail this year! Wishing you & the boys best of health and enjoy your retirement to the fullest! Chris"
"Thank you so very much for your genuine feedback! Having Ogden on my leash makes me forget that it's drafty or humid at times here in Iowa but instead I feel I am spending time outside with a good old friend. Imagine arriving at the office and all your co-workers were wagging their tails at you ready to enjoy each other's company! :-) Thank you for being a valued VIP client!"
"Wow, what a detailed feedback! How time flew by! The first two days Camo [cat] always realized that your were gone for a while and hence was not the happiest camper. I totally understood! But usually on day # 3 she would come, bury the hatchet and check out what goodies I brought along. I am glad, I could make both your and her life brighter when you traveled abroad. When I was in your shoes namely, I always got sick until I was reunited with my own tom-cat again. That's why our slogan "We treat your pets and home as if they were our very own!". Chessie [dog] was different: she would always welcome me right away by the door like a little kid who wants to show off their latest toy to a friend of the family. People like you and your pets make pet-sitters forget that they have to work on weekends, holidays or even on a short notice in case of an emergency. You made my day!"
We highly recommend Trustworthy Pet Service!
He took wonderful care of my pets and seemed to treat them as if they were his own
very trustworthy and professional
"Dear [removed members name]! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a pleasant review! It was my honor and pleasure to take care of Sophie until shortly before her age-related death. Sophie & I were friends and we spent many hours outside together in your beautiful neighborhood. Whether on Christmas or in summer I never felt I "had" to take care of her but instead it was like visiting an old friend. Also I won't forget when your wife called me one day shortly after you had returned from a trip asking me what I had "done" to [removed members name] as she was refusing to eat. I had no idea. But then your wife asked about how I had prepared her food and after I explained she started laughing. It turned out that presoaking [removed members name] dish in hot water before we would leave for our loop, adding sliced baby carrots and topping it with crumbled treats was what she got used to while you were gone. And that's what she demanded when you took over again feeding her upon your return. :-) In appreciation of your nice review I would like to give you a coupon for a free 45-min dog-walking visit for you or a friend. And if I were [removed members name] I would not want your house to be without a little canine family member for too long. So maybe this response prompts you two to look for one this spring! Thanks again! Chris"
"Only recently I started to access my Angieslist record and decided to work more actively with this service in the future. I was pleasantly surprised to read all those detailed reviews and am trying to follow up on each of them as accurately as possible. In your case I recall how you advised that "you'll probably never see Julia" ... but in fact I should see her. :-) Actually without making any noise she was watching me from atop while I was trying to locate her without scaring her too much. And we did meet for some short moments in your kitchen which made me very happy as a pet-sitter ... after all sensing that an animal in my care is not as scared as even her owner had predicted tells me that I accomplished my mission: giving you peace of mind while you travel and from the pet's perspective coming across as non-threatening. Hoping that your grandson and you will be travelling soon again and your Russian Blue & I will have more opportunities to meet and greet. BTW: I would like to add that our charge for a pet-sitting visit in your area is $20 each and as I'm most grateful for your delightful feedback I would like to hereby give you a coupon of a free pet-sitting visit for you & Julia or a friend of yours. Thanks again! Chris"
"Hi, [removed member name] I will never forget how on my very first pet-sitting visit of Gussie, Rosti, Lily and Trece ... only ONE pet showed up and the other three were hiding. After merely a couple of visits though this should change quickly since after the dogs and I returned from our walk through your area the cats started to demand their cuddle time. This seems like yesterday to me but only too soon came the day when I had to carry one of your Westies on my arms as she had gotten too weak to walk our usual route due to cancer: it was heart wrenching to witness how my little friend's spirit was still the same (I called her "Frog Hunter" as she loved to chase frogs on rainy summer nights) but her feet simply wouldn't support her little white body anymore. "Memories are a castle you cannot be displaced from" an old German saying goes. Such were those rainy summer nights out in Clive with two little Westies hunting frogs and barking at deer! Hope you're going to travel soon again ... and in order to encourage you to think about your next vacation here comes a gift-voucher of one free pet-sitter visit for you and your four-legged family! Sincerely, Chris"
"How time flies bye: has it already been six years taking care of Charlie while first you two and now you three travel? I must admit I do envy your little son - I wished I had had the opportunity as a toddler to grow up watching a cat like Charlie sneaking around me. I bet the two have been inseparable since you took your wife and baby boy home from the hospital! What a great start in life ... perhaps a young future biologist has started his first ever studies on animal behavior? I would like to add some information if I may: since Charlie has a non-contagious medical condition we charge $15 per visit and a medical surcharge per day of $7 (for administering his medicine). As I am aware how busy you are taking good care of your family and still have time to write such a positive review I would like to suggest that the next visit of $22 with my old friend Charlie goes on me! Sincerely, Chris"
"Dear [removed member name] Thank you very much for this very encouraging feedback! Although only fairly recently I have been able to read my reviews I still don't want to miss thanking your for your time and trusting me with your canine family member! Your dog Oliver always reminds me of Snowy of "The adventures of Tintin" (google him on Wikipedia - you will love the series in general and Snowy's character in particular!): he is one tough cookie of a little white terrier! I will never forget the assignment when the temps were in the minus, the sidewalks were snow-covered but Oliver still was pulling on my leash as if I was walking a true Husky! You know, I think you should surprise your beautiful wife with a nice trip this spring ... and Oliver with a meet & greet with his pet-sitter buddy Chris - the first meeting would go on me. Deal? Wishing you lots of success for your professional career and all the best for you and your family in 2014! Sorry for my belaaated response! ;-) Sincerely, Chris"
