The fir tree had  a large vine in it so when some of the limbs were cut, they didn't fall to the ground and got stuck in  the fir tree next to it.  These are 4-6 inch diameter limbs. Instead of finishing with this tree, He started doing some tree work for my neighbor.  It is now 6:00, and He promised (A man of his word, as he put it) that he would be back in the morning to finish.  Our fault, we paid him and so did the neighbor.  He did come back the next morning and took the limbs from the neighbors front yard but did no more work and haven't seen him since.  Our work is done except for the dangerous limbs hanging in the tree, but owes the nighbor a downed tree besides leaving her yard in a mess.  Big holes in the yard and trampled landscaping.  My neighbor and I have called repeatedly and when we have got to talk to him, he promised he would be there the next day.  Hasn't happened. The work he did for us was fine if he had just finished it.  We know better than to pay before the work is completed, but we trusted him.  BIG mistake.
