I placed an order for baby furniture on May 16, 2008. Simply for Giggles promised that the furniture would deliver in 6 to 8 weeks. I was extremely clear that if I didn't get the furniture by July 12th 2008, I wasn't interested. She promised, I ordered and it never came. After several tries to get her on the phone, I finally got ahold of Tanya who said I could get the crib, but the rest of the furniture was back ordered. I canceled my order and was told I'd get a refund. The refund never came. Tanya was contacted again in November, 2008 and I informed her that I never got a refund. She told me that their policy was store credit only. Needless to say I wasn't happy but I settled with store credit in the amount of $2,536.63. On Dec 22, 2008, I purchased 31 items online and only received 11 things. When I contacted Tanya on Jan 27, 2009, I was told that some things were no longer available and the rest are back ordered and should ship in 2-4 weeks. I told her I need to know which items were no longer available so I could order new things. I was told she would call me in a couple days. Today is March 3, 2009 and I haven't received any of those items or a phone call giving me any information about where these things are. At this point I'm exhausted! I accepted the store credit and now I'm finding it's almost impossible to use it. The only thing I can figure is that she's spent my original furniture money and doesn't have the money to honor my store credit. If you order from Simply for Giggles you'll be lucky to get the stuff you order on time or even get it at all. I had a friend order crib bedding from them a month and a half ago and she still hasn't gotten it.
Description of Work: We remodeled our house and turned our old master bedroom into a baby nursery. I bought baby(nursery)furniture from them. This was an over the phone and online purchase.
