I thought that the deadbolt lock would need to be replaced but he was actually able to repair it and it works great now. He also did a good job getting the two doors to latch correctly again, and he did it all for a very low cost. Highly recommended!

I called the office at 9 AM and was placed on the service list immediately. The person who answered the call was courteous and told me someone would call on the way over to our house to do the job. The repairmen (2) called at 11:20 AM and arrived within 15 minutes. The part of the job they could complete was done in another 15 minutes, and the lead repairman said he would order the part needed to complete the rest of the work and would return early next week. In the interim he said he would not complete the billing today as it would require charging me for another service call when he returned--something I would not have expected but was very pleased to hear. I am VERY IMPRESSED with the level of service, the worked performed and the timeliness of the response, and will call Midwest Lock and Security FIRST for any future locksmith services we need!

We had called around other locksmiths around the area to get a quote. Midwest Lock and Security was the only one that picked up promptly and answered all my quotes-related questions thoroughly so that I had a good idea of what my services were going to be and how much they were going to cost. After a couple of days, I called to schedule an appointment and wanted the services to be rendered as soon as possible. To my surprise, they were able to do it that very afternoon!
The service professional, Rodney, was very courteous and thorough. There was a minor glitch because someone had taken one of his tools and he requested to come back the next day for the installation of deadbolt. I was flexible, so I was able to reschedule for the next day. On the next day, I called and asked if he could come in earlier than what we scheduled. He said, and quot;Absolutelyand quot;, and we were able to take care of the business five hours before it was scheduled. The services went normally and we even got a discount for the inconvenience! I would highly recommend Midwest Lock and Security to anybody needing a locksmith. I give them an A.

Called to make appointment and they agreed to the day and time needed. They called ahead of time before arrival to verify. They checked all the lock, re keyed them and also lubricated them. Very professional and neat with the work.

The base trip charge ($50) seemed a little high, but the lock smith spent around an hour rekeying the locks. I had a key for the first lock and he was able to rekey it, but I had to adjust the lock later so the lever and handle would operate smoothly. I didn't have a key for the second lock and he was unable to pick it. Since it was for the interior garage door I let him take it to try at the shop. He called the next day and said he couldn't pick the lock and it appeared/may be damaged. I purchased a new lockset which they rekeyed to match for free. He didn't make a mess, but he should use shoe covers when walking around customer's house.

Work required less than 30 minutes and the technician left behind two keys and several ideas for where to find doors that would fit the architecture of my house and still be secure.

They were prompt. I wanted my locks changed right away, they came out right away and they did it. It was $83 for the key in key out because they had to drill a hole in the door. That was the most expensive. The other times were $65 to $70. I don't know the competitors prices but I give them an A because they give you good quality stuff.
