 + -1 moreBob was honest about not being a Singer authorized repair location (there are none in Iowa) and honestly stated that if parts were needed, it may take awhile to obtain from Singer. Luckily no new parts were needed. Turnaround time was 2 days. He was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable.

 + -1 moreThey fixed my Elna, after I used a can of air to clean it, and it froze up...I was so thrilled when I called them and they could fix it this week, another place I called, couldn't work on it for 3 or 4 weeks, and was going to charge me $150 for just cleaning, and that didn't include the price of the fuse. It went great, they told me it would take about 2 or 2 and 1/2 hours, and they were right, I took it to them at 9 am, and they were done with it before noon. I didn't pick it up until 12:30, but that was because I had lunch with a friend. I plugged it in, when I got home, and it runs better than ever, you would think it was brand new, and it is 9 or more years old. They are a terrific company!!!!!!!!! Metro only charges $80 for cleaning the Elna machine.
Description of Work: They fixed my Elna sewing machine, and cleaned it, oiled it, fixed a fuse, and got it done in a couple of hours time. They were professional, and I would use this provider again. They had every opportunity to charge me a lot more, because my machine was in another shop, and they told me it may need a new board, which would have cost me $400 or more...Metro was honest, and provided the fuse, and fixed it for a reasonable amount. I am very impressed with their service, and would drive 2 hours each way again, they are awesome. Good price, good service, and good honest place to do business, ...5 stars or more. As many as they can give. You won't be unhappy, they are a great company.

Description of Work: machine rattling and tensions off. they calibrated my machine and told me what NOT to do and fixed it better then it has EVER been fixed and it runs soooo qquiet now...
