Langford Tree Service

In two days app. all was done including soil replacement. Due to the rains this summer, the date was moved from July to August. We will be contacting the company again to help with choosing a replacement tree. Efficient, excellent service and information.

They came out to my house and I showed them what I wanted done. I live next to a creek and have a lot of small trees behind my fence in the backyard. Over time, storms have knocked down many of the branches and the area looked as if it was hit by a tornado. I spent about 25 hours piling all the debris in 3 piles to make the area look nice. I thought by putting it in a few piles would make it easier and quicker to dispose of the debris. I got the estimate for all the work they wanted done and couldn't afford to do the entire job, so I had them trim the branches away from my roof and my driveway and then was going to do the rest of the work at a later date. I asked when they would be able to complete the work and they said they were about a week or two out. They were able to complete the work earlier then anticipated. I was able to get a hold of the city and they are sending out a crew to remove the debris at no cost, since this on their property. I was happy with the job Langford did of trimming the branches and will use their services again.

Langford  did exactly what they bid and went above and beyond in cleaning up mess after the job.  They were very careful with our landscaping and did not let anything get into planting beds.  They also were very careful with roofs of house and garage.  Both roofs were swept and cleaned with air blower.  The people working were very professional and knew what they were doing.   Certainly would use them again.

Tree removed and hauled away within two hours.  Tree was located about 40 feet from street.  It pleased me they did not use any equipment to haul limbs to truck and therefore no damage was done to lawn.  Very good clean-up. Very courteous employees.

Owner and crew arrived as scheduled. Professionally and quickly accomplished the work that needed to be done. Will call Langford again when other tree work is needed.

Great service! Great job! I contacted them 2 months ago about having an overgrown crab apple tree trimmed. I called on a Saturday and was told someone would call me the next week to schedule something. Monday morning Dave called me and came out quickly to give me an estimate. I got a couple other estimates and Langford was priced right in the middle. I called Dave the next day to get it scheduled and he said they were like 3 weeks out. They finally showed up this week while I was at work and they did a good job. They left a bill on my door too. Very nice that I didn't have to be there while they got the job done. They missed a large branch that we had talked about so I called Dave that night when I got home to ask him about it. I got his voicemail and he called me back early the next day. He said he would send a crew out to take care of it. When I got home from work that night it looked great. There was also no extra bill in the door either. It was nice that they were quick to remedy the situation. Overall I would highly recommend them.

Dave Langford came out in late April to give me an estimate for the job, coming in well below two other bidders for the amount of work to be done. I called a couple weeks later to accept the bid. Initially I didn't hear back from them promptly with regard to scheduling, and after a couple attempts rewlized that they were waiting on appropriate weather, given conditions at the job site. (Also, I had to get the neighbor to tear down a decrepit fence so the crew could properly take out the stumps.) Dave called on a Sunday and said they could be out the next morning. They showed up on time with a five-man crew and went right to work, taking all three trees down to about 10-15 ft. with a cherry picker. The next morning a smaller crew came to take out the remainder and grind out the stumps. They separated and removed the soft wood from the Tree of Heaven, and left the Ash and Walnut sections in my neighbor's yard for him to split for burning. (I didn't want it.) They cleaned up the property and were gone by noon. Quick and professional. A neighbor asked me about them and, based on my recommendation, said he would contact Langford for work on his property. I'd go with them again in a heartbeat.

My neighbor’s tree fell on my house when we were on the edge of a tornado which did not hit but there were very high winds.  The tree next door, it was huge one and it fell on my house.   They came in gave me the estimate and they did exactly what they would do within the time frame, and cleaned up the site.  They did a great job.  The tree actually hit my cherry tree and broke a huge branch from my cherry tree.  They have a arborist as well so he evaluated the tree and said that they can take it down but probably it would live even after that limb gone and it is still living.

They did tell us it would be about 2 weeks before they could get to us. That time frame was pretty accurate. There was one very skilled climber and 4 guys on the ground. They all used good safety measures. The area was fenced in and there were several large limbs hanging over the house. Using ropes, they manged to get the trees cut down without touching the house and hauled the debris to the driveway to be shredded. They hauled away the larger parts of the trunks which couldn't be shredded. They raked up the sticks and leaves after finishing the tree work. They worked about 8 hours total. We received several estimates, and the Langford bid was the best. We were very happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone needing trees removed or trimmed.

They did not interrupt utility service provided by the lines that went through the tree canopy, they took down a clothes-line during the service and replaced it when done. They cleaned the area. The only blemish on the procedure was an oil stain on my concrete drive that the mulching machine left. There was some delay in getting the job done (a small job to them), but overall I was very happy with their service and would use them again, would recommend them.

Price was competitive and better than several other estimates, they were timely, very competent, and did what was expected. Clean-up was good. They told me what I needed to do to prepare. This was a major job and they completed it all within a day bringing in the right equipment and staff.

From start to finish it went well. Time frame, price quoted, work done and cleanup. I would definitely use Langford again and recommend them.

He came out with the estimate and he's the arborist. Then he came with the crew and told them what to do and basically how far and where to do it. Then he left and his crew did the work. They were very pleasant and answered my questions. They checked with me to see if what they had done was sufficient. They were very open to my instructions and did what I wanted.
