It went great! They were prompt, thoughtful, and very professional. I had my quote one week, and they did the roof the next. I had a bit of trouble trying to pick a shingle color, and Jessie helped me figure it out and now I love my roof. It is beautiful. They were very professional and nice, and cleaned up extremely carefully after the project was finished. Awesome in every way. I never thought I would be this excited about a new roof--

It was good. They got done on time and repaired it quickly when I wanted it and did a good job. Somebody recommended them to me.

I was trying to decide on what kind of roof and I was going from composite slates. It took me a couple of years to figure out what I was going to do and Hedberg and Son Roofing did an excellent job. It's doing pretty good. It's got a 50-year warranty and that's about as good as it gets. They were very professional.

I first contacted them in July because of a leak in my roof. They were responsive and came out to give me an estimate. I agreed to the work but they did not contact me to let me know when it would be done. While on vacation on July 18 I received a bill for the work and they said it was done. I paid the bill but at the next rain I discovered the leak was not repaired and contacted them on August 7th to take another look at it. It took almost a month to get a call from them and I was told that they did the work in error on a neighbor's home and not mine. Once they figured this out they did the repair and it is now fine, but the leak damage to my ceiling is much worse now because of their error and the additional 6 weeks it was leaking with every rain.

The communication and professionalism was great. They sent someone out for an estimate the next day. They were friendly and courteous and I had the estimate in writing within hours. They were able to schedule the repairs very quickly and performed all the work as promised. A great company to work with.

They did a great job. They used good lumber, and all of the trim work was excellent. Furthermore, the installers worked quickly.

Overall, I'm happy with Hedberg and Sons, but it took a REALLY long time to get the work done. It took almost a month from first calling them to get an estimate, then almost two months after that before they were able to complete the work. Part of that time was not their fault, as they were waiting for a third party to manufacture the chimney cap, but they were very poor on communication. Often times I was told I would be hearing from them in a week or so and then never did. I had to call them every week to get a status update. However, once the repairman showed up, he was very professional, took pictures of the damaged areas and included them in the bill. The price seems okay for the amount of work that was done and I'm happy it was fixed. If they work on their timing/communication skills, they will be a top-notch company in my book.

Worker came out and attempted to repair leak by sealing. It rained a few days later so I checked and roof was still leaking in same spot. I contacted them and told them that I would like them to come out and take another look at leak. I also requested that the worker contact me when he was coming out so that I could meet him at the house. They said this would be no problem and that I would hear from someone the following week. That week pasted and part of the next week, so I contacted them again. They said they were sorry that no one had contacted me and that someone would call me back shortly. It has now been over a week since that conversation and still no one has contacted me. I dont feel it should be my responsibilty to chase them to have work performed.

We had a pretty serious roof leak during the rainy summer months. We had called some other contractors (pre-Angie's List subscription) and they wouldn't respond/never got back to us. Finally I subscribed and found Hedberg and Son. They were very responsive and were able to get someone out to the house quickly and within our schedules. The employee, Scott, came over and did a very thorough investigation and evaluation of the problem. They gave us an initial estimate of ~$900, but after the work was complete the bill was only $500 because they said it took a lot less time/supplies to fix the problem than they estimated (when does that ever happen?!). He also took pictures of the damage and repair and sent them to us for our records. While Scott was at our house he pointed out some other things that looked unusual while he was on the ladder. For example the support beam over our garage had some fungus growing out of the top of it. From below we didn't see anything but Scott saw it from the ladder. He talked to us about it and removed the vinyl surround to take a look and it turns out the entire support beam had rotted. We would have never noticed until it was too late had ne not pointed it out. Hedberg and Son was honest enough to assess the damage and then decide it was out of their expertise so they referred us to another contractor. We would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

The leaks continued. They came once and made some repairs. Leaks reappeared. Made appt for him to look at it again but he never showed up. We moved on to someone more knowledgable.

He called and said he could do the job today. He said he didn't need me around or any special items to do the work. I heard pounding for about 30 minutes and then he was done and no more leak.

Did what they said they would do and did the work when they said they would. Worked with me to maxamize insurance reimbusment. Would give them my full recommendation.

I was not super pleased with the job they did. They were pretty good at coming back to fix any problems. I would not use them again in the future.

All work by Hedberg and the subcontractors was completed punctually, professionally and it looks great. The installation of the new roof did open a roof leak that Hedberg had fixed several years ago. I called and they came out to fix it the same day. It took a couple of weeks to get the gutters selected (that was my slowness in choosing colors) and scheduled and installed. We combined the work with exterior painting, and Hedberg worked smoothly and professionally with the painter I had selected, keeping in touch with him via phone, coordinating ladders, stucco repair, etc. The staff were great and kept our property clean and neat.

I had a leak in my roof. Called Hedberg and they sent someone out the next day to replace a vent boot that had cracked. Asked for an estimate to add roof vents. Got an estimate about a week later. Sent back a check for the boot and signed the agreement for the vents and mailed it. Called and got them scheduled. They did it quickly with no mess.

They were wonderful. Very helpful, punctual, fast, and clean. Answered all my questions clearly and honestly.

My experience with them was also excellent. Their knowledge and the efficiency in which they did their work and their clean up was all excellent. I would definitely use them again.
