"Heartland Roofing, Siding and Windows strives to exceed customer expectations on all projects. The above stated work was due to a hail storm, so we were performing many trades on this project that included roofing, gutters/downspouts, painting, air conditioning repairs, and window replacements. When all work was completed (excluding window replacements), the homeowner mentioned there were a few landscaping blocks that were moved by the crew during production. When we informed about that, we were out there within a day to move those back. From that point, we were finalizing the details and estimate with the insurance company on the windows(they were originally not covered so we worked with the insurance adjuster getting proper documentation, pictures, and estimates) and the homeowner informed us he'd prefer to wait until spring to do the windows. Throughout the winter and spring, we had several conversations and texts, and we were never informed of any of the other issues with the work previously completed that are stated above. When it came time to go over the details for the windows, the homeowner called and rescheduled several meetings, and then became unresponsive. After several months had passed without a response, we decided to bill for the work that had been completed. Once the homeowner received the bill, he called and finally told us that he had decided to not to do the windows. That is when he let us know that he wasn't happy and had complaints about the work. This was over eight months after the work was completed, but we offered to come by to discuss items he wasn't happy with. He declined and then told us he wanted money off of the bill. During that phone call, a follow up call was scheduled to try and resolve the issue. He later canceled that phone meeting and has been unreachable since that point. Within the past few months, we've attempted to make contact with the homeowner to resolve this issue, and they have not returned phone calls."
