Last night, our furnace stopped working and we woke up to 56° indoor temp and dropping. To complicate matters, our household is currently sick with COVID and we were unable to have a technician enter our home because of this. After speaking with Jackie (the appointment secretary), I received a call back from the manager, George. George was very kind and explained why they couldn't send a technician out (completely understandable). He then continued to offer to walk me through things to check to identify and possibly solve the problem. I stayed on the phone with him while he walked me through trying a few different things, and by the end of the 25ish minute phone call I had a working furnace again. I am so beyond grateful for the above and beyond service George and his company supplied to me today. Because of him, we have a warm home to recover in. Thank you, George.

It went very well. I was called prior to the service person coming to my home so I had time to leave work and meet him. He checked everything out, added Freon and it was all fixed.

Cannot rave enough about how awesome this project went. Communication was great. Staff was very professional. It was done in a early 1900's home and was not an easy tear out or install and they did a fabulous job! Top notch company. Will definitely be using them again on other property's we own.

Installation took 1.5 days. By the end of the first day, the AC was operational with the system in a roughed in state. The final installation looks clean and organized. Due to a recent basement remodel, the AC line had to be abandoned in place and re-routed which was communicated prior to installation. The hole left in the siding was patched and meet my expectations.

Absolutely F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S! Professionals from start to finish. Will be using this company for all of our HVAC needs in the future! They were an amazing find!!

My a/c unit went out and another company came out to troubleshoot and I was told the repair would exceed the cost of replacement. The owner of that company then came out for an estimate. I contacted Des Moines Comfort for a 2nd estimate and when the owner arrived he thought the 1st company's assessment of the unit to be a little sketchy. He offered to have a tech come out free of charge to troubleshoot before offering his estimate. Sure enough, the first company lied to me hoping for the bigger sale. The technician, Rory was able to repair the unit for $175. He was very knowledgeable and offered a lot of free advice. Highly recommend Des Moines Comfort! Don't get fleeced by another company!

Excellent. The humidifier repair was fairly minimal but they still did it without additional cost. They were thorough and took the extra time to make sure we were very happy with the outcome.

Was referred to this company by my neighbor, who had also received good service. Our furnace and air conditioner were getting old, so we needed them replaced, but not urgently. We priced them against another company, and they were 30% below the competition for the same equipment. (Sorry, not comfortable sharing how much we paid) It took a few weeks after that for the work to begin. Since our work wasn't urgent, that wasn't a problem; it might have helped lower the quote too. They installed nearly everything in one day, They also reused our humidifier from the old furnace and hooked it up to the thermostat controls. The two installers were courteous and professional, and they left everything just as clean as they left it. We're very happy with the service that was performed and the price they charged. No hidden fees, no surprises. The timing could have been faster, but it wasn't an issue. We would definitely use them again.

The service was excellent. Very informative on what I needed to do to maintain my water heater and heater. As well as courteous and professional service. Very very pleased.

The furnace guy showed up to my door right on time. He was courteous and knew what he was doing. I watched him do the first few checks.  He was measuring voltages and explaining to me where the normal values were and weren't. My furnace was rather dirty; He did a great job cleaning it out.  No extra costs were added to the Angie's List package purchased and all of my readings were good to excellent.

He was very honest and looked at the previous company that checked my ac....he saved me a lot of money for right now...keeping in mind that a new ac unit is in my future...
