We had a terrible experience. It went from bad to worse quickly. They rarely showed up. We did a walk and told them what needed to be done. We constantly had to watch them. It was just horrible. It was really bad work. They were supposed to buy all the supplies. They must have been paying of the last job with our job. We ended up having to buy all of the paint and supplies. When we got down to the last $600 the painter was left. He hadn't been paid yet by the owner. We paid him directly. He couldn't find the last pieces of wood that had to be replaced. We had to pay them extra to finish the house. My father who is 90 years old passed away on January 18th. The day after we got a knock on the door and we found out that Tom the owner was suing us. We had all of our receipts and everything. We went to court and he ended up owing us $840. They were supposed to start on June 1st and take one week. They didn't finish until the first week of July. I feel like Tom was a con-artist. He seems like he really knows what he is doing and really just sucks you in. It was terrible.

"This was a customer who in hindsight I now know was set to cheat us. Tools that we had permission to leave on sight were stolen and only the owner had access. The job was almost completed when we were fired from the job and they refused to pay. I had to sue to collect money and came up against a sharp lawyer they had hired. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a customer. Everything was "great" and "wonderful" until the end. At the end I had tools thrown at me when I came to get my tools. I later found the husband had a reputation that I would not have worked with this couple if I had been aware of. I actually feel sorry for Carolyn and the children. Terrible situation."
