The cleaners arrived one hour early. I pointed out the time of the appointment. They moved their supplies outside, and sat on my neighbor's bench. When I went back to the door to invite them in, they said they were going to lunch and would come back.
I then received at call from the owner of the service, telling me that they would no longer service me. Because: I had thrown their stuff out and was aggressive. Lies. I had a guest visiting who watched the whole thing, who later confirmed. He thought the whole thing was "crazy". I tried to explain to the owner what had actually happened, and he hung up on me.
Good riddance, the quality of previous cleanings was poor. They never showed up on time, once two hours early!
Overall, this company is very unprofessional and chaotic.

the gentleman finished dusting early, and instead of doing the secondary things I explained I wanted done (vacuuming, cleaning another bathroom, etc.), he dusted the door frames which I felt was rather useless. But because he didn't speak English, I couldn't tell him what I wanted him to do next. When I tried to explain to the woman who did speak a few words what I wanted him to do, she kept saying, "no time, no time" So my doorframes were clean, but other things that needed attention went undone.
A second young lady cleaned my kitchen, but as they were putting all their things away to leave, I noticed my kitchen sink was a mess. She hadn't even touched it. so I brought her back and had her do it.
It seemed the whole operation was rushed. They were more concerned with making their next appointment than they were in doing a good thorough job. The inability to communicate with the team was frustrating, and I felt like the $90 I paid for the service was too much for such a sub-par job. When I have remind someone to clean the kitchen sink, something is wrong.
Oh, and they charge a $9 transportation fee! Doesn't matter if they are coming from another house a block away, they charge $9. So plan on spending another $9 on top of what the cleaning price is. I found other cleaners who didn't charge that, did a much better job and were able to respond to my needs on the spot.

Also, I specifically asked that at least one member of the 3-person crew speak good English, as I have trouble understanding through a thick accent and wanted to be able to communicate with the crew; I was assured that my crew leader had a good command of the English language, but she was barely intelligible and didn't seem to understand me any better. I received a phone call from Clean-It about an hour or so before the crew was scheduled to leave, and was told that the crew had contacted the office to say they would be done early (the person who called me didn't bother to ask how things were going up to that point). The price was reduced accordingly, but I would rather they had stayed for the originally scheduled time period and done the job properly.
Finally, I had originally indicated an interest in having the crew come once a month if the initial service went well. Naturally, I didn't want them back after that first cleaning, but didn't call to express my dissatisfaction right away because I expected a follow-up call to ensure that I was happy with the work and to confirm the next scheduled cleaning; eventually, I simply forgot about it. Two weeks later, I received a call at 9pm "reminding" me that the crew was coming the next morning. When I told the caller that I didn't want them back and why, she didn't express any concern or desire to make things right ('tho, after 2 weeks, it was a little late for that anyway).
As a former business owner, I find it incomprehensible that no one seemed interested in making sure that I came away from my initial experience a satisfied customer. With better communication and a simple follow-up call, this company could have retained my business and enjoyed future referrals from me. Instead, I have to recommend against using Clean-It.

Things went better than my expectations. That said, amazing. Sean, one of the owners, sounded too good to be true when he came and said they can do this and that, etc. and it will be done by the best. I am skeptical. My deck looks fantastic, It took a lot longer than any of us wanted due to the weather this lovely year, but Sean kept in close contact letting us know when he was coming to work on it, sent pictures when I was out of town to show me the progress and was exacting in details. The deck looks better than when it was new.
I also, changed cleaning companies to this company and they do a marvelous job. Price is right, same people, in and out. My biggest complaint with the last company were that they sent someone new everytime and never felt like my house was really clean. Plus, the pricing is better. Found window cleaners here too!

purchased. My experience was so wonderful that we have continued with
them into our third year now. They are dependable, thorough, kind,
accommodating, and I am never insecure having them work in my home. In
fact, it was the best gift I have given myself, and I wanted my friends
to know how nice it feels to come home to a clean home, so I purchased
additional gifts for them and have gotten 5 other satisfied clients with
this company. Doug was outstanding when he set up my service and when
ever I have had any questions. Amy has been great on every phone
conversation we have had as well. My friends like their cleaning as much
as I do. I am so glad to be able to commend this company for such a
great job!
