Nick Button and his partner Scott did the work with the help of subcontractors. The work was extensive including foundation, electrical and framing. They basically built a new portion of the house which required building permits. He has responded to all of my needs. They used high quality materials and the finish project is exactly what we wanted. I would recommend him to anyone. We did research on getting the best bang for our buck, and they definitely did the work with the best materials for the least expensive price. They were all very knowledgeable.

Initially, Mr. Nick Button of Boulevard Building Company LLC appeared to be an honorable man. His work appeared to show attention to detail and for the most part was very easy to work with. However, this all changed on 28 OCT 11, when I paid Nick Button the final bill and we agreed that he would be back out to finish the remaining finish work in the next couple of weeks. It unfortunately took me nearly five months to get to a position that I could get the work finished. Below is a timeline of events, so others don't fall victim to the same practice.
28 OCT 11: Nick Button finishes major work on underdeck and stairs. Initially paid approximaltely $2,000 and on 28 OCT 11, paid $6,000 for remainder of job. Nick Button advises that he will be back in the next week or two (not later than 11 NOV 11) in order to fix improperly installed eve spouts, finish wrapping stairs, and covering up the back of the stairs.
05 NOV 11: Part of the underdeck blows off.
08 NOV 11: Major leak discovered in underdecking. Took video.
09 NOV 11: Send Nick Button an email advising on leak. Received no response.
11 NOV 11: Two week deadline passes.
18 NOV 11: Phoned Nick Button. He advised that other projects came up. Agreed to check with him next week.
28 NOV 11: Left voicemail message for Nick Button to call me. No response.
02 DEC 11: Left voicemail message for Nick Button to call me. No response.
05 DEC 11: Left voicemail message for Nick Button to call me. No response.
06 DEC 11: Left voicemail message for Nick Button to call me. No response.
06 DEC 11: Sent certified letter to Nick Button asking for response not later than 23 DEC 11.
23 DEC 11: Left voicemail message for Nick Button advising that he had left some sawhorses at my house and that if he wasn't going to call me back, I was going to have to take action in small claims court.
23 DEC 11: Scheduled appointment with another contractor to compile estimate on what it would cost to finish unfinished work.
23 DEC 11: Received phone call from Nick Button's attorney. He advised that he was in receipt of my letter and sent a written response out on 23 DEC 11.
24 DEC 11: Received a letter from Nick Button's attorney saying that Boulevard had completed the necessary work.
28 DEC 11: My other contractor compiiled estimate. Advised that they would email me the estimate.
28 DEC 11: Spoke with Nick Button's attorney. Explained my side of situation and that there was a contraact in place. He asked me to send him the estimate when it was completed and he would see if, "we could work something out."
04 JAN 12: I met with my attorney to discuss the way forward.
05 JAN 12: Received estimate from other contractor to finish work. $1273.06.
06 JAN 12: Brought in remaining documentation for my attorney to review. Drafted response letter and sent a copy to contractor invoice to Nick Button's attoreny.
