AAA Movers

The movers were professional, helpful, and efficient. My belongings got from my old place to my new place (roughly 30 miles away) without any problems. They were up front and clear about the costs, the start and stop times, and how payment would work. If the movers had any concerns or questions, they made sure to ask me if I had any preferences, and offered suggestions to help me make my decision. I highly recommend them. In the name of transparency, I will mention two, very minor issues I had. First, it took several calls and urging from me to get confirmation of my move and the associated costs sent in writing. Second, the movers showed up 30-40 minutes late, but did call ahead to let me know that they were running late.

It was great. The guys were at the townhouse when they said they would be. They moved all the furniture and loose items quickly. They even moved an elliptical that my husband thought would be impossible to get down the stairs. They even came in a little bit less then they quoted.

Excellent, the young men were very respectful of me and my belongings. They were fast and efficient. I will recommend AAA movers to anyone. The home office also was very easy to work with, this was a very stressful time for me and they always helped me when I had to move moving day to a different date. Corey was the young man that I always talked to, he was very accommodating and helpful.

Would not recommend. ? The sales team is fantastic, but unfortunately we've had an awful experience. We have been trying to reach customer service for almost THREE WEEKS after our move. We were billed for 4 people even though only 3 showed up, we got a PS4 stolen (we were very organized and have unpacked everything), and our dresser was broken. We have left so many voicemails with customer support. The front desk and the sales manager say they can't help us and they keep sending us to customer support, which always goes to voicemail. At this point, I'm afraid we got scammed ? I hate leaving negative reviews online, but I'm not sure what else to do. A few other notes: - One man had asthma and was sitting out often trying to catch his breath - They ended up leaving a sweatshirt, an inhaler and moving equipment behind. We would like to return these - We tipped them very well and even bought all three of them lunch - They stopped by the gas station for drinks on the way (this doesn't bother me at all, but thought I'd mention it since I know some people don't like this)

The moving companied came within the time frame that was given to us. The men was polite and job oriented. Due to my mother's apartment being close to the retirement center's restaurant the movers needed to be done moving by 11:00 AM and it was completed on time. We were very pleased with the service. Nothing was broken or damaged during the move. At the retirement center we heard of others having a terrible experience with their move. We had an excellent experience.

There was a hiccup in the beginning, but it went very well. I was kept informed, sent reminders and phone call. The three movers were exceptional. They put mats down to protect my carpet. I had everything wrapped but they offered to wrap it before they knew. They were very professional very friendly and an absolute joy to work with. I have moved six times in the last eight years used four other companies before Angie's List had this company. I will never use another moving company and have told everyone about them.

I had used movers one other time in the past, it wasn't a great experience; this time, glad we decided to go with AAA Movers in Des Moines. Give this new Iowa branch a chance. You will be glad you did!Even though we had to add things during the move, the crew was very adaptable and still got the job done, within an hour of the estimate. Without the added changes, they would have been right at our quote.
